The news about that poor woman who they said got her boot stuck in the cattle grid at a level crossing is getting really murky. Her boyfriend has been charged with manslaughter - and police no longer believe she got stuck, apparently.

Horrible.

Police can call people scumbags but I personally dont think it was the right circumstances to do .

DrNortherner · 05/04/2008 23:12

"Unfortunalety people like you give police a bad name , keep your thoughts and comment to yourself and staff canteen"

Why?!!

Scumbags do exist, police see the worst of it every day.

Take off your rose tinted glasses captainunderpants.

tbh imo if someone came on this thread and gave an opion thet i thought was not nice. I might not agree but would respect their right.
But when they namechange and do it they loose my respect.
people are now defending soemone who could be anyone

bubbles4 · 05/04/2008 23:14

they shouldnt be deleted as she has her right to her opinion and after reading her reasons for namechanging I can see why she did but she did say she will not be missed and as other posters have said, she was a daughter and a mother so someone will miss her.

CaptainUnderpants · 05/04/2008 23:15

Dr Northerner - I spent nearly twenty years in the force and I have seen people from all walks of life .

I have also leanrt that whatevr or whoever you are when you die you still leave ones who have loved you .

I no way have rose tinted glasses perhasp just a bit more professional and discreet in my comments about people.

Fecks sake so much for confidentiality (and being able to spell it). Hope the police see that certain officers have been happliy slagging off a dead woman.

Police have a hard enough job without some being totlay unprofessional and making it harder due to public opinion.

southeastastra · 05/04/2008 23:16

yes but surely she namechanged because people could identify her from her unrelated posts here. seems totally justified to me.

expatinscotland · 05/04/2008 23:17

I love it how people jump into the pulpit and cry hellfire to people about 'breaking out the pitchforks'.

But they always seem to have theirs at the ready when someone disagrees with them.

It's an open forum.

namechanged has done just that.

Scramble · 05/04/2008 23:17

Of course police entitled toopinions we all are but they should be discussed in staff rooms and canteens not on a public forum about specific persons.

Even teachers and nursery staff are expected not to bitch about pupils or parents in public they are expected to act professionally or at least name no names and keep it general.

I wish I were, KM.

I vomit every single thing I eat after 6PM .

Even water and Sprite.

I've been sick so much this evening my stomach muscles ache.

DrNortherner · 05/04/2008 23:19

Fairenough captain underpants - I apologise

yetanotherfakename · 05/04/2008 23:19

I happen to know the woman in question was a well-respected member of her church community

sorry still don't get it.
she has namechanged just so she can come on a thread to say stuff about a dead woman.
no one know who she is(on mn)
no one knows if what she says is true as no one knows her (on mn)
so wtf is the point of posting it in the first place.

CaptainUnderpants · 05/04/2008 23:20

Dr Northerner -

expatinscotland · 05/04/2008 23:20

evening sickness.

had it with both my girls.

ALWAYS in the evening.

DD1 was the worst. After 4PM, whatever I ate was coming up.

You know, I used to go out with a scumbag who admitted to killing a young woman. He got off with it - she wasn't there to tell her side of the story, after all.

And if I found out he died, I can't say I'd be sorry.

It should go away about 16 weeks-ish.

6 more weeks to go.

Then I'll get acid reflux and sinusitis which causes panic attacks.

I'll start to swell big time and be in and out of hospital.

I'll actually be slimmer than when I got pregnant because I won't have eaten much for vomitting and acid reflux, but I'll have such bad oedema I'll forget that until the baby arrives and I start peeing for Scotland and a month after the birth people say, 'Wow! You're thin!'

southeastastra · 05/04/2008 23:23

because it's human nature to be interested 2shoes

VeniVidiVickiQV · 05/04/2008 23:24

I'm sniggering noisly and incredibly inappropriately at WW and 2shoes misunderstanding.....
