What would you say if this was your child? It's akin to those who say homosexuals are deluded and need Jesus to make them straight.

But to say that these people have those feelings about their gender are 'deluded' is very much the same.

I thought 'changing sex' was more about how you felt about yourself than just having an operation.

It can't be that the legal people inspect the work that the doctor has done, say "yes thats a fair enough approximation of a man/woman" and rubber stamp it.
