The leaked texts clearly show it was an abuse of power & position by him.

How TAF is it now the woman that is in the wrong?!

It’s been widely reported in the media (doesn’t make it true admittedly), although now I’ve looked back and I can only see reference to a specialist barrister, but my point still stands - they’re independent, have no skin in the game, are professionally regulated and will stand to lose a lot if it transpires they’ve colluded or covered up

A KC is an expert in the law. They are not qualified to tell if the texts were doctored. The lawyer's views on whether the texts were doctored are no more authoritative than my window cleaner's. And it isn't even clear that the lawyer (who may not have been a KC) saw the texts.

Having read Red Bull's statement saying the grievance had been dismissed again, I note that it doesn't actually say that the investigation cleared Horner. It is clearly intended to lead readers into thinking that is what happened, but it doesn't say it.

Apparently the Thai 51% shareholder has made it clear that Horner stays even if that means Verstappen leaves.

Independent consultants paid by RB aren’t independent. They don’t report back equally to the complainant, their findings go to RB first.

i had to go through a similar process and the company botched it and botched it, they only hired more and more consultants to try to completely reset and fix things for themselves.

This case shows how the media reporting can really be misleading and people jump to the wrong conclusions. As prh47bridge says the official PR statements have been very carefully worded. Where someone is interviewed on TV or in the press you do have their actual words but these can be heavily edited.

CH has been very consistent with his line of it being confidential and he can’t discuss it. It makes it easier for him, as that is a correct statement, but to me it implies this is more complicated.

In my opinion the leaks were always going to backfire.
