Can't help sorry or I'd be sacked. Remember of course she might not be on the register as Jarvis - she could be registered under a maiden or married name and 'broadcast' under Jarvis. Which sje is perfectly entitled to do of course.

lol at rbel coming back 'to have another pop'

time4me · 20/03/2008 12:24

Brilliant thread!What a laugh,no she can`t be only 37,that voice,shudder.

NoBunny · 20/03/2008 12:35

She's Doogie Howzer.

foxinsocks · 20/03/2008 12:39

a 'rough part of inner London'? ey?

unless she has moved, I used to go to her practice (and in fact saw her once when ds was ill) in Hammersmith.

Rough part of London my arse. There are far rougher parts.

lou33 · 20/03/2008 12:40

i used to see her too, but this was in the early 90's and it was fairly run down then

dunno

she did have a fixed grin though that I think she reserved for mothers who had not slept for 2 years and had 2 screaming babies.

She did that 'trying to reassure and be positive and no you don't need antibiotics despite having 2 babies with ear infections' which only comes across as 'shut up, stop wasting my time and go home you mad woman'.

She was my GP in the 90s and that was when the practice was based in a hut at the side of the Goldhawk Road in Shepherd's Bush and back then there was nothing swanky about TW12!

foxinsocks · 20/03/2008 12:51

yes, I think I quite possibly came across that way

well I suppose, thinking about it, considering I had no sleep and probably didn't have my glasses on AND this was several years ago...I reckon late 30s at the time which would make her early/mid 40s now.

She's def older than me.

bundle · 20/03/2008 12:56

lol @ this

claricebeansmum · 20/03/2008 12:57

No she has got to be older than that. I reckon she was in her 40s in middle 90s

bundle · 20/03/2008 12:59

bossybritches, i found the 86 one too (the other is a Sara, without an h in my directory) I've met her and i'd say those dates seem feasible

I don't know about this one but I CANNOT BEAR that Rosemary whatnot on BBC Breakfast. Sorry for shouting but really I hate her. So smug, patronising, middle of the roady, I know best because I'm a GP so I know everything about everythingy.

Hate her. As for her dress sense - bleugh. Always a pencil skirt and power jacket or cardy with a denier tight and a court show. Ugh.

DarrellRivers · 20/03/2008 13:14

she would have to gone to med school at 18,
qualified as Dr at 23 (youngest scenario) and the year pre-reg, then 3 years or so gp hospital training plus 1 year reg gp year so youngest qualified as GP would be 27/28

DarrellRivers · 20/03/2008 13:15

unless she was like sarah lawrence and went to medical school aged 12 (which i really doubt)
