Thanks for the link www, v funny article! The Barclay brothers are specless according to your pic. I must have been thinking of The Proclaimers...

Piffleoffagus · 20/12/2004 17:35

Would she be entrepreneurial enough in the future when needing to resurrect a career,to start up a "how to bed an older wealthy and celebrity chap" kind of course at the local polytechnic.
Is she really considered a poor mother? That would be the only thing that could make me have one iota of compassion....
Narr on 2nd thoughts...
Not even that

Piffleoffagus · 20/12/2004 17:36

... and are we likely to see a Hello mag special 44 page introducing baby FQ and it's parents?
Hmmm

WideWebWitch · 20/12/2004 17:37

Oh please let it not be John Humphrys

WideWebWitch · 20/12/2004 17:39

I see her as more of a Mike Yarwood fancier though really....

muminlondon · 20/12/2004 17:41

Who was it on Broadcasting House this Sunday who was defending her so vigorously?

sobernoel · 20/12/2004 17:42

If it's John Humphreys I'm throwing all my radios in the bath and leaving the country. OOh! What about a Dimbleby?

muminlondon · 20/12/2004 17:44

They live quite near to Simon Hoggart so she could have fit them in

SantaGoesToTheGym · 20/12/2004 18:39

snowmeltsonthebeach · 20/12/2004 19:19

OLittleYurtofBethlehem · 20/12/2004 19:27

OMG - when does this woman find time to eat sleep look after her child, be pregnant (surely exhausting enough in itself!) and perhaps say HELLO to her husband!!!!!!!!!!!!!

muminlondon · 20/12/2004 19:59

The Evening Standard says that she is being linked to a famous black journalist, a celebrated broadcaster and a property tycoon...

muminlondon · 20/12/2004 20:01

... and was appointed publisher of the Spectator by Dan Colson, chief executive of the Telegraph group...

SantaGoesToTheGym · 20/12/2004 20:03

Hmmm, could the famous black journalist be Trevor McDonald?? He announced last week that he & his wife are having a trial separation!!

I loved this comment in a paper re T Blair. "Tony Blair was said by insiders to be watching the emerging revelations with a mixture of concern and incredulity." I bet he is!!

PaRumPumPumScum · 20/12/2004 20:29

Such a great thread, this. Incredulity is about right, isn't it snowdonim? I'm utterly hooked on this sorry saga too...

Caligulights · 20/12/2004 20:33

Gary Younge? He's not famous enough is he?

Oh silly me, he's far too young.

Jonathan Ross? Too young. Parky? Melvyn Bragg?
