He deserves to be cancelled? Really? Maybe H&M deserved to be cancelled for all the lies & drama they've caused too.

Its not like the BBC didn't cancel him before and thats why he moved to Amazon. Its just a new cancellation.

JC is a vile rent-a-gob. His entire career is based on being an obnoxious bigot. It works very well for him. He has a large audience of fellow bigots who love the drivel he spews. And every time he “goes too far” he gets enormous amounts of free publicity. I’m sure he knew exactly what kind of reaction his comment would get.

There will always be somewhere that will pay him for being obnoxious because there are lots of people that will buy it.

I hate the term cancelled, but I am glad if Clarkson is getting less work as a result of his unacceptable remarks.

I think it’s a bit of a hallow gesture - they weren’t going to do a second series of his farming programme anyway and it will still air. So it was likely coming to a natural conclusion anyway and they’ve just put a statement out to make it sound like it was a choice based on his actions rather than them never having intended on continuing it anyway.

Cancelled gets so overused. An individual being sacked/let go by their employer (e.g. Clarkson and the BBC) is not being cancelled.

It's a rather slow "cancelled" though, isn't it? There are still 2 more series of Clarkson's Farm and 4 more fancy Grand Tour expeditions.

The man is 62 (which surprised me, I assumed he was a bit older). I am sure he'll be able to manage from his farm income.

He has had enough chances. If you read through his long list of racist, ableist, sexist and homophobic ‘mistakes’, it’s clear he’s not learnt a thing. If people fuck up, apologise and learn, I’m all for giving people another chance. But he’s just fine too far, too many times.

I used to think he was quite funny in an acidic kind of way but much like Katie Hopkins his 'I'm just using common sense and this is just the way common people think' started to go sour when he punched a staff member. The article about meghan was vile, no matter how annoying you think she is. How can anyone state they hate her more than Rose West ffs? And who let that be printed?
