these are the parenting equivelent of 'you don't have to be mad to work here but it helps' signs at work stuck up beside the picture of latest office party and everyone looking abit fat and red faced.

I've seen pyjamas which say "Why am I going to bed?" on the front and "It's my mum who's tired" on the back, which I think is quite funny, but the lot in the OP are just cringeworthy.

I just looked at the link and I liked this comment:
'Most people who buy these can't actually read anyway, other than to order from a McDonald's menu (or do those have pictures?)'

I'm not sorry to pronounce that on the whole they are "vulgar, vulgar, VULGAR !"

Call me a snob but no child of mine........

i didnt mind one or two of these like ipood and motha sucka (i lol at that one) i would never consider putting one of the others on my DD but i dont mind slogan t-shirts in general. nappyaddict i didnt like that global warming one but i think no added sugar have some funny tshirts and i have bought one or two for my DD in the past (my heart belongs to daddy and pink to make the boys wink)
i dont worry about what other people put on their children as i would spend my days doing not much else if i did
xx ei xx

My DDhas that top saying 'if you think I'm cute, you should see my mum'. She wears it because it's a great fit, but I don't like the slogan much.

I saw Tesco's had a girl baby top saying 'does my bum look big in this.' I held it up to my DH and commented how awful it was. In comparison, it's tame and tasteful compared to that list, which is just depressing.

I think we should expect to see more children wearing these shirts though: I know plenty of people who would think it a real crack to put their kids in something that was considered to push the boundaries. Anything to believe they're being 'different'.
