Its not that bad is it??

Immaculateconception · 03/02/2008 19:04

OMG! My children will never ever ever wear this.

auntyspan · 03/02/2008 19:58

I think the "all daddy wanted was a blowjob" but i would never, never NEVER NEVER let any child of mine wear one!

BroccoliSpears · 03/02/2008 20:05

My least favourite tshirt of all goes something like:

Saw it
Wanted it
Had a tantrum
Got it

Ugh. Vile.

Greensleeves · 03/02/2008 20:09

the iPood one is quite funny, to see in a shop window, not to put on a baby

Who the fuck buys this shit? It really should be illegal, most of it.

TotalChaos · 03/02/2008 20:09

The pre-school one is OK but most of the rest are really quite vile.

harpsichordcarrier · 03/02/2008 20:13

What happens in preschool stays in preschool
is quite amusing
and

Cuter than baby Jesus

is fairly droll, imo

Greensleeves · 03/02/2008 20:15

I like to think I am not humourless....but some of them really are nauseating

BellaDonna79 · 04/02/2008 19:09

My cousin had one which read
"IVF BABY
My dad's a wanker'
I found it quite funny but would NEVER let a child of mine wear it!

CrushWithEyeliner · 04/02/2008 19:15

"iPood" and "What happens in preschool stays in preschool" are OK. Wouldn't put them on my DCs, but OK. I've seen T-shirts that are (IMO) far more offensive than many on this list, though.

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 04/02/2008 21:37

my posts on the Times are never published, so this is my comment so I can have some validation as I am annoyed by some comments on there!

"Come ON. There is a huge difference between a t-shirt which says "I'm more of a boob man" than thongs.

If I put that T-shirt on a six month old breast fed baby, please explain to me how they are going to turn out into a yob, who cannot read, or eat anywhere other than MacDonalds.

All I see with that T-shirt is a parent who makes a statement that their child is breast-fed which, lets face it, can only be a good thing when there is a shockingly low percentage of breastfeeding mothers.

I fail to see how a couple-of-time-wearing or a slogan T shirt would lower a childs intelligence.

Am I only smart and a good citizen because the fashion in the 80's was milder? Or is it because my parents gave me good morals, which I will pass to my child, whether or not I chose to let them wear a slogan T-shirt?"

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 04/02/2008 21:42

FWIW I dont like many on that list, but blimming heck the Times readers can get shirty

my fave slogan t-shirts are:

"DISCLAIMER - the parents of this child may not be held responsible for any damage or loss caused by throwing, smacking, or vomiting of the aforementioned child"
As it stops me having to apologise for the millionth time when DD has thrown up on my mums expensive rug/ has "helped" me with the shopping and dropped something at the busy checkout which always seems to go splat

"Spit on that tissue and I'll cause social services"
As I am reminded of how my mum used to spit on a tissue and scrub my cheek, gross!

"Granny magnet"
As DD is, somehow all the grandparents wanted to squeeze her cheeks in Asda!

theUrbanDryad · 04/02/2008 21:43

i would rather see a babies t-shirt with "I'm a boob man" on it than a t-shirt with a picture of a bottle and "Mine's a pint."

PaulaYatesbiggestFan · 04/02/2008 21:45

rank

CaptainCod · 04/02/2008 21:46

My mom is a milf

thats nOT offensive??

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 04/02/2008 21:47

who you asking CC?

sandcastles · 04/02/2008 21:47

MotherFunk, My Mom is a MILF [mother I'd like to F*] ISN'T offensive?

madamez · 04/02/2008 21:50

I can;t get really stressed over this. Toddlers have no issues about what they wear apart from whether it's uncomfortable or how much they like the colour. Because we're broke I tend to buy him clothes from the supermarket and slogans are not always avoidable, so he's often running round with 'Wannabe Rockstar' or 'crazy but cute' on his chest. When DS was little I decorated some of his vests with fabric pen and my favourite slogan was 'feed this end' at the neck and 'wipe this end' at the bottom.

Hulababy · 04/02/2008 21:51

Hate slogan t shirts on children and babies. Many on that list are just horrid.

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 04/02/2008 21:51

I am just looking at a site where it is slogan shirts, and I am giggling over the "Mummy's Stalker" - I am quite tempted to buy it for DD seeing as she even follows me to the loo. It must be from being a toddler that girls learn they must go to the loo in pairs!

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 04/02/2008 21:54

I wouldn't buy DD a "my mums a milf" shirt, but only because I could get sued for false advertising
