link here - I reckon this is Sky News jumping the gun a bit, but blimey!

Assuming it isn't murder (it can't be, he's a CBeebies presenter!), what a terrible thing to happen! (Well it's terrible if murder as well, but you know what I mean!)

reading guardian article it is terrible that his career is given more coverage than hers. she is the one who died after all.

poor woman may have had a seizure while in the bath - it does happen. A friend of mine's daughter died like that. Scares the f*ck out of me as I have epilepsy.

Presumably they have reason to think drugs may have been involved, or that would n't have been made public.

BlokeDH · 05/01/2008 19:48

I think he was arrested because the police wanted to see the big picture.

calebsmum · 06/01/2008 21:47

Now saying they had been binging on cocaine all day and she had an accidental overdose and drowned in the bath.

(completely irrelevant but I never would have guessed he was 42!)

clumsymum · 07/01/2008 10:54

I suspect he has been arrested because he may have acquired the cocaine for her.

This happened to a former work colleague of dh's. He and his wife used drugs regularly, and took it in turns to obtain them.
One weekend she died. He woke up to find her dead in the bed next to him. He was arrested, and at first charged with manslaughter. The charge was later reduced to supplying class A drugs.

Said bloke has just served 4 years for it, and come out with a criminal record and the death of his 26 year old wife on his conscience.

oh no. how awful. so many people in that business do cocaine routinely. Just shows how it can f*ck one's life up.
