So far we've had someone say as children in schools have masks and SD they must remain open for their MH.

The mental health argument doesn’t sit with me, a lot of children will be petrified of going back because they know about the virus, they know the risks and they will be scared of going back, contracting covid and as a result infecting a loved one.

The “in and out” education we will have otherwise when cases occur is also going to be much worse for mental health of most people.

It's baffling that they're still peddling such blatant lies.

Agree. Uncertainty is definitely more destructive to MH than being told they are working remotely for x number of weeks.

My son caught Covid at school, along with 20% of his form.

There are 30 year 10s, many much bigger than some adults, crowbarred into a tiny, poorly ventilated box, shoulder to shoulder, not wearing masks.

It's scandalous.

Repeating something over and over again doesn't make it true. It was a lie the first time you said it, it's still a lie when you say it for the 21st time.

Why is it not safe to open primary schools in London, but it is in other high rate areas?????

He's just also admitted they have no idea if tier 4 and schools open will be enough.

So they are - once again - waiting for the horse to bolt before shutting the stable door.

Disappinted in Marr, he's not challenging him anywhere near as much as he should be.

This isnt rocket science , the virus seems to be mainly by human contact inside
Everyone knows how kids spread coughs and colds at school , why this is any different I dont know
Stay at home ffs , dont bend the rules to suit your own purpose

Schools are safe - what we need to find is a way to stop the levels of transmission in them and back into the community.

So now we have admittance they are driving community transmission a bit.

And if they are responsible for high levels of transmission how does that equate to being safe?
