it says on bbc website it was a brain haemmorage. how sad. she had had hepatitis since 1971.

goodness how sad. and what a shock for her family and friends.

I remember them starting up the Body Shop idea, it was revolutionary

How sad, I love her book and I always quote her life when people slag me off for 'failing' at things - she went bust twice before the body shop and had 3 'failed' businesses.

Thought she was great

I withdrew my support for the Body Shop when she sold out to L'oreal. However she was a formidable woman.
