I saw it and my immediate reaction was good for them. I have always liked Meghan and I think Harry has found someone who is really on his side.
The way she has been treated by the media, the press and the gossip columns is atrocious. It’s grotesque racism and it’s as simple as that. I feel rather ashamed on behalf of all the nasty brits out there and I hope she realises we aren’t all like that!

The thing is, that some parts of the British press have been nasty. However, Harry and Meghan have been very popular with the public both here and abroad.

Harry's immense privilege by virtue of being a member of the Royal Family will always be there regardless of whether he is using a title or not. He will be the son of the King for crying out loud. Security issues, conflicts of interest with any employment or charity work - fact is, he can't escape. Suspect this is all about her escaping though. I am very sorry about that - I really liked her.

The previous poster is right, thr wording of the statement has thrown lots of people. They didn't say they would work towards being financially independent. They said they would work to. Which if they had phrased it better would and should have read "we will work to enable us to become financially independent".

They are looking to charge. For their name and their time.
