OMG anyone from Evesham know where the people stuck in the floods can sleep??

DH went to pick up my aunt from Birmingham Airport 7 hours ago and is now stuck in the floods in Evesham. Where can they go to sleep the night, is there emergency shleter. Eeek eek eek. my aunt is 69...

Please point me in the right direction.

They're going to have to stay, I think the roads are inpassable, or whatever the word is. The M5 is closed at Tewkesbury the motorway is completely flooded.

Took me 5 hrs to get from Thornbury to Gloucester Hucclecote earlier. 3pm til 8pm.M5 is flooded. Cheltenham to Evesham via 435 is not possible either. Tewks has been underwater most of the day. Tune in to bc radio glos - they have up to date info.

Also apparently worcestershire is even worse than glos

The fosseway and moreton in marsh have been closed since about 4pm. Totally flooded out. DON'T risk it.

When were you on the M% dh came off the M5, because of the 17 mile tailbacks despite my warning to keep to the moterway. Now look where he is....Not really the time for told you sos, though.

JP - the flooding is not because of the rivers - it's rainwater that can't drain away.

I heard the environment agency man on the radio earlier and he said the river was not flooded yet.

Tewkesbury is awful ds1 has gf there. That's where the people are stuck in the Somerfields! Cars are floating down the road. I'm sure she'll be ok though, Tewkesbury people are used to flooding.

JP we didn't part on the best of terms, he offered to pick up aunt to I didn't have to drag the babies up to airport. But he did the "I'm a martyr" routine, which pissed me off. So we're barely talking, I've txt him a couple of times asking how he is, but no reply. Want to ring but don't want to wake him. OI think they could be stuck there.

Aunt will be deastated if she can't get to the orphans. OMG OMG OMG, at least my babies are here safe.
