have to say i am shallow enough to have wondered about his hair! my dh who is similarly 'challenged' would be mortified if his grew like that! i gues he might possibly have his mind on other things....

Agree Beety! I saw the pics of him beng bustled about and interviewed etc. and it reminded me of DP when he lets his side bits grow out too much and we all tease him. I bet poor Alan was thinking "yes this is all very well but I look a fright, when am I going to get 5 mins on my own in the bathroom to do my head???"

beety, I don't "know" him but all of us bbc people have definitely felt a closeness to him over the last 16 weeks, he's been on my mind a lot, and i want to show his parents how important his return is to all of us.
