""I am going to try and get it lighter and lighter, it is not nice to be ginger," she said after the hearing."

Shes not just a ginger whinger, shes a ginger-ist whinger.

Are you a ginge then Cod?

Bloody hell - she was treated horribly!
I'm gald she won her case, gald it is unacceptable to harrass people out of their jobs, why do you call her a winger'? (by which I assume you mean 'whinger'?)

ELR · 26/06/2007 10:59

its not the colour of her hair id worry about if i was her!!

ELR - are you a male chauvinist pig, or just the kind of bitchy woman who thinks it's funny to slag off other women for their loooks?

belgo · 26/06/2007 11:02

well said Blu

ELR · 26/06/2007 11:04

apologies all round before someone else has a go

GreebosWhiskers · 26/06/2007 11:04

My hair's the colour of the woman's roots in the photo & I've always had compliments about it. I like red hair & find red-haired men attractive - especially the younger Axl Rose (yum).

I did have it dyed dark red years ago & had my eyebrows tinted brown & my lashes tinted black but kept the rest its natural colour. Absolutely nothing matched - probably looked a tad bizarre.

I would agree but interesting that the article is built around the ginger aspect when the ruling is on the grounds of the sexual harrassment/discriminatory behaviour.

Are the media bored with stories about women being discriminated against for being women?

What a load of old tosh! I have read hair - dark auburn red hair, not as light as hers. I dont recall being 'bullied' or even people making comment because of it. Is it a myth? or does it really happen. Do red heads really get bullied or harrassed because their hair colour is diff. to brown, black or blonde.? I dont think so myself. And look, she is an adult, she has a tongue in her head, she can stock a few pat 'come-back' answers - surely, if indeed it has happened.

If it is true, then Ive been spared, but I think its a load of old rubbish tbh.

JeremyVile · 26/06/2007 11:08

On the subject of red-heads, i'll just share that i am wholeheartedly in lust with Josh Homme.

ELR · 26/06/2007 11:09

the reason she got harrassed is probably because she is not the best of looking ladies and her hair colour was probably just something for them to focus on, there are loads of people in the public eye with same colour hair who are seen as beutifull

JeremyVile · 26/06/2007 11:09

She was sexually harassed, the ginger thing was just an element of that.

She won the case, its not in dispute.

paulaplumpbottom · 26/06/2007 11:10

ELR · 26/06/2007 11:10

ELR.

I think you'll find that the reason she was harassed is because she was working with a bunch of tossers.
