9/11...... if anyone is interested

I have been investigating all about this since we had the last 9/11 thread going...I have always had big issues with WTC7, and its collapse...

Whilst looking at WTC7 stuff, I came across a BBC news report, where the reporter is announcing the Collapse of WTC7. She is in NY, having a discussion with a news reader back here, she is pictured infront of a smoking NY sky line and is announcing that WTC7 has just collapsed.....But....It is still there, right behind her in the background!!!

The collapse of WTC7 appears to have been press released 23 minutes before it actually did collapse!!!!!!
I am soooooooo convinced that the collapse of WTC7 was intentional.

Had to post it as it is really buggin me!

I actually would probably have less doubt if it wasn't for the damned oddness of WTC7... It just doesn't make sense at all...

I don't know what to think about this tbh. Dh does think it is a conspiracy after reading alot about the theory on the internet and stuff. Will show him your like tonight ludaloo.

I hop to God that 9/11 was not planned. Surely no American woud do that?!!

well there are also theories that the Isralies did it...which is even more mind boggling...I'm still trying to research that a bit more before I think too much on it!

We've had this discussion before and you can have as much evidence as you like it will always be disproved and counteracted with huge amts of evidence on the other side - you are never going to find the answer to this - you're great great great grandchildren maybe but not you. What gment in their right mind is going to come out and say 'oh by the way - 9/11, yeah we did that!!!'
I do see some of the sense behind the theories but whilst I have my issues with the US admin and the middle east situation, even I find it hard to believe that any government would create that situation. You must remember, that they simply could not have done this alone, this would have taken involvement from global agencies etc which implicates our own gment. What I do believe is US ignorance aloowed the situation to be that bad.
What really gets me is whilst everyone argues about this and the war out in the middle east, noone talks about what we can actually do to prevent further episodes of this nature and these terrorists and do something we need to. 9/11 can and will happen again and how many times can we blame our own gments for our own unwillingness to stand united against these kind of attrocities. Noone ever got anywhere nearer peace by denying the holocaust.

hmmm fair point countoten, Its the not knowing that makes me question it...and if anything is going to happen to make it all come to a head, one way or the other, then I'd like to be around to see it.

That depends on what you believe the atrocities to be doesn't it. In many peoples view continuing to support conspiracy theories and fighting for truth...what ever it is...is standing united, because heaven forbid if this was the doing of government, then they are the atrocity

But they can't all be gment conspiracies. 7/7 - the attempted 21/7, the attack on the marine ship, the previous attempt on the WTC, the attempt to hijack a french jet and crash it god knows where, suicide bombers in the middle east killing their own people searching for peace, egypt bombings - these are all terrorist attacks. We need to work out how we can stop these people from peddling their evil to the next generation and start preventitive measures. Again I'm not saying the war in Iraq or Afghanistan are part of the solution but I also don't believe the situation as it was before was the answer either.

hmmm no I don't think they are all govnmt conspiracies either...but you know I am beginning to wonder why OBL hasn't been caught yet....they managed to find Saddam in a hole in the ground with a basket on his head....OBL has been in hospitals, and such like...they seem to be getting rather side tracked..

i think 9/11 is mighty fishy for many reasons .....and personally find it hard to swallow why the planes were not intercepted by US airforce once they had left their flight paths and before they reached NY and other destinations?

Also, why in US media was it ever linked to Iraq? if not to justify an unprovoked attack?

its been a great way to erode our personal and hard fought for freedoms in this country..but like, no one seems to mind...

it doesn't really add up and feels like an orwell novel ...'war on terror'...wtf...

Suzy, because they turned off the transponders on the A/c and therefor effectivly 'disapeared ' from the radars of the atc people. They were one annoymous blip amongs many. And the eastern seaboard of the US is a parge place, and the A/c take time to scramle and intercept, but which time the planes had crased.

My source of info on this is my dh who used to fly fighter jets for a living for the RAF

I'm fascinated by 9/11 and have monitored a lot of the conspiracy theory stuff. Most of it seems to follow the line, not that the US Govt were active participants in the attacks, but perhaps that they had indicators that an attack was likely and did not act definitively to stop it.

Also there are other theories that maybe do not count as 'conspiracies' - 'cover ups' is prob a better term - eg the loss of Flight 93; seismic records show the plane crashed several minutes after the official report says that it crashed...ie cockpit recorder transcripts have been cut off 'early'...ie perhaps the passengers did regain control and then were disastrously shot down by US fighters??

Not saying I agree with the theories just that they are fascinating!

Anyway 9/11 is a moot point anyway as far as informing the general populace; do you really think we humble citizens of the world will be told anything like the full story of what happened before, during, or after? 'The truth' in its precise details is the kind that will emerge in bits, prob a couple of generations after we're all dead, if at all.

ludaloo - see that's where i start getting conspiratorial!!! I question if he's even alive anymore - or whether he roams the earth as a woman in full veiled attire or whether he secretly resides in a US torture facility. I do find it hard to believe that if they can find Sadaam they can't find OBL. maybe he knows certain secrets that they can't afford anyone else to know and they've done away with him. It;s not like they haven't tried it before!!! See we're not that different!!

But you do accept that US agents didn't actually fly the planes into the towers, that members of Al Quaeda did it with or wihtout the conspiring US govt? So even if he admits that he organised it - surely you can choose to beleive that he is just a pawn in the dastardly US plot to make Al Quaeda take the blame - he just didn't know he was being manipulated by the US into doing it.

IMHO the US needs someone to blame in order to continue this whole "War on Terror" nonsence. No matter how this man has come to plead guilty... whether he is just a pawn in a plot or what...
very convienient that this comes out just after people start asking questions again isn't it!

not necessarity convenient just a reaction to the questions. Ie "we're bored with all these ridiculous questions, for god sake leak the interview showing who really did it and have an end to the speculation"
