... well according to The Sun
which I read daily (being in the North, thick, not in work and all that)

she doesn't seem to be a naturally well loved character

littlemissbossy · 01/03/2007 14:50

I too think he fell in love with her and that she was a shoulder to cry on after the death of Linda
I also think she is, without doubt, a gold digger and saw him only as a meal ticket
sad really

Crikey that's a very polite way of putting it Zippi.

hellobello · 01/03/2007 16:14

Let them both go to Hell. They are as monstrous as each other!

ssd · 01/03/2007 16:16

200million??

jesus I'd thank you for 200 quid right now.

2shoes · 01/03/2007 17:31

horrid man and a horrid woman so tough luck on him

paulaplumpbottom · 01/03/2007 18:24

Who thinks she'll really be giving it all to charity?

Dont know why - totally irrational but she gets under my skin.
I would hope that with this amount of money that she is able to disappear abroad somewhere.
Hopefully in a few years time she will feature in a
"Where is she now ?? " type article.

frumpygrumpy · 01/03/2007 19:35

Haven't read the thread but getting down to the bottom line.....

He had lots of money, she had a little, they got married, they fell out of love........why should she think his pots of money should be hers? Surely a comfortable sum to take care of the baby, for whoever will take care of the baby (and by the way does she ever? I always thought Paula Yates in teh early days was a lovely mum as she had her kids strapped to her body whenever I saw her and they were always grinning, Beatrice however is never anywhere near Heather Mills), should suffice and that should be relative to beforementioned dosh, i.e. if he was to be the main carer, she wouldnt give him anything and if it was her then he should stump up a home for them and enough per month for the baby to be well looked after and a school fund til 18 to boot.

Sorry if thats me just being stupid but I've always wondered why the poorer one screws the richer one for all they've got. Cant people just accept its over and stand up for themselves.

My DP is loaded and I am not (having not worked for YEARS). If we separated I would expect somewhere to live with my 3 kids (a bedroom each as they have now, in the same area, I would expect them to attend the same school one attends and two are expected to and to have enough to have a nice holiday). I wouldn't actually want to screw him for every penny I could get. Not even if he was horrid. I'd be happy to leave him to be horrid.

I'm ranting.

funkimummy · 01/03/2007 19:39

To stop the bickering between them I will graciously step in and take the £200m, that way there will be no arguments.

God does it show I'm a mum!?!

ishouldbeironing · 01/03/2007 19:42

Well said frumpy

maisym · 01/03/2007 19:43

could help if you like funkimum

funkimummy · 01/03/2007 19:45

maisym, there's more than enough to go around!! perhaps all of the mums on mumsnet could be sensible and step in to stop them bickering?

We'd all be millionaires, then it would have to be upgraded to millionairemumsnet!

maisym · 01/03/2007 19:51

excellent idea - you've sorted things out perfectly

funkimummy · 01/03/2007 19:55

I'll just get onto the divorce lawyers. Can I have a full list of everyone who'd like to remove the £200m from the equation to stop the mcCartneys from bickering please?

frumpygrumpy · 01/03/2007 20:16

why thank you. I am extremely hormonal and have on large tackety boots

Bubble99 · 01/03/2007 20:20

Who gets the 'Cherry Sundae' toupee, though?

She's awful, IMHO. But if he couldn't see through the 'I'd never even heard of the Beatles' guff she came out with when he met her - more fool him.

ishouldbeironing · 01/03/2007 20:21

The boots suit you frumpy

maisym · 01/03/2007 21:53

funkimummy - it looks like it's just us that are generous enough to help solve the situation in such a straight forward manner.

frumpygrumpy · 01/03/2007 22:19

If I were Paul, I'd be tempted to throw in a couple extra to never have to be in the same country as her again. She is ignorant in the way she conducts herself.

Right, I'm chucking myself into bed before I really start up

Aloha · 01/03/2007 22:22

Bundle - was that the story in Private Eye??

tiredemma · 01/03/2007 22:25

he had the most god awful pair of shoes on in the paper today.

Shitty crepe style shoes. eugh.

LieselVentouse · 01/03/2007 22:40

"Lady McCartney, who arrived shortly before, said nothing as she arrived for the closed-door session towing a case full of legal documents." and she wonders why people hate her.

donnie · 02/03/2007 12:10

she claimed to have NEVER HEARD OF THE BEATLES??????

now I 've heard it all....
