I think the Hinduja Brother money went through her company (thus exonerating Vaz of receiving it himself) as a fee for "immigration law advice". I wonder if she has given the DM an exclusive in return for them not digging deeper on other matters and/or it's a ploy by his PR - his wife forgives him, she is worried he could commit suicide - so that the public consensus is he and his family have suffered enough so there is no need for him to resign as an MP or be further investigated.

If I were her advisor I would tell her to do exactly what she's doing in order to safeguard her and her children's financial future. She can make a quiet exit in a few years time. It's not in her interest to help to sink her husband, he's in enough hot water as it is.
