How terrifying that this can happen - not going to start speculating about how/why it's happened, but hope she pulls through.

mamamea · 16/06/2016 17:24

It seems the perpetrator may have had mental health problems.

What the fuck is wrong with the world? Poor woman. Poor family.

mamamea · 16/06/2016 17:57

Caitlin Moran is engaged in point-scoring on Twitter. Vile.

TheoriginalLEM · 16/06/2016 18:07

mamamea - well that explains it then. as you were everyone, its just another nutter

BirthdayBetty · 16/06/2016 18:25

TheoriginalLEM · 16/06/2016 18:29

The Britain first link on mamameas thread takes you to a live page where the leader issues a statement. i did not lisyen to it. Just to let you know not to click on the link.

mamamea · 16/06/2016 18:36

TheOriginalLem, it looks like the Britain First page is blocked geographically (I'm not in the UK). So maybe not deleted after all?

mamamea · 16/06/2016 18:39

Apparently the perpetrator may have been a subscriber to some kind of South African white nationalist newsletter.

springbokcybernewsletter.blogspot.co.id/2006/01/january-2006-edition.html (mentioned in passing as a missing subscriber)

PausingFlatly · 16/06/2016 18:39

It's minutes since she died. Please could we hold off the speculation and stuff for a bit?

Right now, the police commissioner has asked us to "let the police do their job in understanding exactly what has happened that led up to this hugely tragic incident and channel all our thoughts into supporting the families and communities affected."

I don't think anything's going to be helped here by speculation.

TheoriginalLEM · 16/06/2016 18:44

Point well made - it is incredibly scary but mostly this is a family's tragedy Sad

QOD · 16/06/2016 18:45

civil I'm so sorry you had to find out like this Flowers

Terrible , poor lady Sad

PausingFlatly · 16/06/2016 18:46

And sorry, I'm not trying to be the thread-police.

Just there will plenty of time for all that later, when the police have done their work.

mamamea · 16/06/2016 18:46

TheOriginalLEM, the boy who was killed by the alligator was a family tragedy, this is much more than that.

divafever99 · 16/06/2016 18:48

This is sickening, her poor family.
