Domino's pizza are still advertsing on the BB website though and I noticed that the headline on the site was Shilpa's statement saying she didn't think she was being racially abused.

has anyone seen how this story is covered worldwide? it's quite scary that it's escalated like that.

Funny how the police are so keen to investigate when it involves celebrities or the TV cameras but refuse to investigate lower profile bullying, for example in schools - including the sort of violence that would, if carried out anywhere else, result in charges. As several MNers know to their cost.

Never mind, the children who have to be pulled out of their schools don't seem to matter, let's worry about someone who is clearly rich enough and famous enough to look after herself, however unpleasant her current companions are.

the thing about shilpa's 'no, not racist' statement is that at the moment the brits in the house have given her no reason to think that the press etc will be any different. yes, jade, danielle and jo are being awful, but ian and cleo aren't standing up for her. so she's being cagey, i'd hazard.

and i know that people are saying that jade was bullied before, but tbvh that's not how i remember is. as i recall she bullied sophie without mercy, until kate lawler stepped in and told he it had to stop. i think that was why the guardian had the headline 'is this the most hated woman in britain?' it was a combination of her stupidity, her ignorance, her temper and her bullying that did it... much like today.

I've just seen this story on Belgian news, on the main evening news. The British come across so badly, being represented by Jade Goody shouting f**k off at Shilpa. Shilpa is being represented as the beautiful victim.

I think not voting should be the thing to do. I think that if somehow one could get nobody to vote then c4 would have to make the decision themselves, and they would have no alternative but to evict jade.

Bennetts have changed their webpage already. They are doing a 'babe search' [rolls eyes] that Danielle was fronting for them - her picture was there this afternoon. It's now gone!

I would also hazard to conjecture that Shilpa is taking the 'high status' position - refusing to acknowledge that this is on her radar - as Jermaine was counselling her to do last night. So brushing off racism would make her seem strong and invincible to it. It is to her credit - and she knows it will be to her credit - not to make a fuss and shout about it.

And that's not to defend or dilute the nastiness of what has gone on. She hasn't created this situation - if she comes out of it on top, all power to her.

I would also agree that Shilpa was being cagey when questioned by BB. She was probably made to feel that she was overreacting.

Im also not surprised to see this has hit worldwide news, it's a disgusting display of a mentality that is all too common in this country. Apart from anything else, Jade and Daniella are just too unbelievingly stupid and ignorant. They deserve everything they get.

I wonder what they will show for Jade's 'best bits' when she is evicted, I also think she should be evicted by the back door for her own safety.

I think shilpa will be evicted because channel4 need to make this go away. By evicting Jade they will not make the problem go away - Danielle and Jo will still be in the house and it's likely tentions will rise because of their loyalties to Jade and Shilpa will be seen as the cause for Jade's eviction. Remember that contestants don't get to see the outside, so evicting Jade will actually have no impact - they won't get to witness how the public react to her.

If shilpa is evicted she will walk out as dignified the tention in the house will reduce, thus getting ofcom and the public off their backs. and in weeks to come Jade will go in her own time and all this hype will have blown over and she will get on with doing whatever it is she does.

Nah - Jo and Danielle will crumple without big bad Jade to hide behind. Danielle was already promising to 'make it better' with Shilpa and not pick on her....but will succumb to peer pressure of course, such is her spinelessness - and so strong is the slipstream of the mighty Jade.

Exactly! Shilpa's not going to cry racism because she hasnt witnessed most of it, and of course has an interest in winning this show otherwise why put herself through it.

She's not going to turn up on a show in a country where she's trying to make a mark and start bandying around the term racism. Look how long its taken everyone on these threads, and in the media, to come around to using the word, and how many qualifications we've attached to it.

As for watching and voting, i said it before but i feel compelled to watch, we've come this far haven't we and Channel 4 don't actually know you're watching unless you have one of those ratings things in your house so that puts paid to any worries about playing in to their hands. And i just can't work out how to stop everyone else voting, so i'm going to throw in my few quid just to make the point.

but if Jade goes now it will lose future votes for c4. lots of people have been saying they're going to vote jade off tomorrow then boycot from then, c4 don't want that.

But if she stays, who knows what else she might say to cause further grief for C4?

If C4 wanted her to stay, wouldn't they have edited out her less cuddly moments from yesterday, rather than braodcast it for the world to recoil from?
