Michael Barrymore I mean. The story about the guy found dead in his swimming pool, well it is back in the news as you might already know. I just find him creepy and repulsive. Anyone else feel the same?

OP posts:
Quadrophenia · 03/12/2006 19:09

I don't like him or his ego

SnafuOutOfHiding · 03/12/2006 19:09

I always did, swimming pool or no swimming pool.

ClementClarkeMoore · 03/12/2006 19:09

Have not seen the recent story - link?

I do find him a slightly pathetic creature.

MerryChristmasfromQV · 03/12/2006 19:13

The man is repulsive, and allegedly, guilty as hell re this incident.

There were, allegedly, many details not released to the public regarding this case that, indicate that this was no "accident" or games/fun gone wrong. However, allegedly, without anyone coming forward or being sober enough to recall things properly they couldnt point the finger at any one person. Allegedly.

Tinker · 03/12/2006 19:15

Never understood why he was ever thought funny. His entertainment style was simply to humiliate and bully people

ClementClarkeMoore · 03/12/2006 19:16

Totally agree Tinker.

He's good at crying though

zippitippitoes · 03/12/2006 19:16

no fan of his ever..and that interview round he did a couple of months ago was excruciating he can't talk properly

Quadrophenia · 03/12/2006 19:17

never understood why he was funny either

Tinker · 03/12/2006 19:18

The phrase "horrific anal injuries" (the pathologist's) doesn't tally games gone wrong. Well, maybe it does and I've lead a very sheltered life...

ClementClarkeMoore · 03/12/2006 19:25

Ah! I see he is asserting those injuries were inflicted at the hospital

BarrymoreIsAPerv · 03/12/2006 19:30

the man is absolutely repulsive. Yuck!

HunkerTheInternetPhenomenon · 03/12/2006 19:35

He's foul.

Met him once.

He was drunk. And violently jovial.

Wanker.

SantaGotStuckUpTheGreensleeve · 03/12/2006 19:36

He worries me, I must say. I don't know anything about the case you are all on about, but there is something "not right" about him.

SantasFattymumma · 03/12/2006 19:37

i couldn;t stand him before all this coming out and then the swimming pool incident.

buthe is just vile, and i do beleive he had far more to do with the poor lad in the pool than it has been stated

MoreEggnogAnyone · 03/12/2006 19:41

I think it's pretty conclusive then. He is a dirty perv. Goood glad we got that sorted. There really is a great deal of twunttishness about him!

BarrymoreIsAPerv · 03/12/2006 19:41

I never liked him before the incident with the guy in the pool. Something weird and peverse about him. Do you think he has a perverse look on his face most of the time?

Quadrophenia · 03/12/2006 19:42

not quite sure what a 'perverse look ' is but he is vile.

BarrymoreIsAPerv · 03/12/2006 19:43

twuntishness??

dara · 03/12/2006 19:43

By perv do you homosexual or something else? If so, what exactly?

SantaGotStuckUpTheGreensleeve · 03/12/2006 19:44

Bit early in the thread to start flashing the homophobia card, dara

MoreEggnogAnyone · 03/12/2006 19:48

I imagine him as the type of person who talks people into doing thing both he and they know they shouldn't.

BarrymoreIsAPerv · 03/12/2006 19:48

Who thinks he DID IT?

dara · 03/12/2006 19:49

Well, when someone starts using the word 'perv' to describe someone who is homosexual, I am interested to know what they mean.

MoreEggnogAnyone · 03/12/2006 19:52

I thinkhe did it. However I also think that this thread may end up in a little tiff. BTW I think the only person to mention gay and perv was you dara.

Oh and twuntishness is my new word and I will use it often

dara · 03/12/2006 19:53

OK, fine so what do those of you who use the word 'perv' mean by it?
