from the sunday mirror.....

EXCLUSIVE: KATE IS HAVING A BABY
By Suzanne Kerins And Ben Todd
SUPERMODEL Kate Moss is pregnant with Pete Doherty's baby, his uncle said yesterday.

And gardener Phil Michels added that the couple were overjoyed at the news.

He told the Sunday Mirror: "I have spoken to Pete twice about the baby and he has confirmed that Kate is pregnant."

It will be 32-year-old Kate's second child, after four-year-old Lila Grace with her ex, publisher Jefferson Hack.

Pete, 27, has a three-year-old son, Estile with former partner Lisa Moorish.

Phil said he spoke to Doherty on Friday when the singer called him from Italy, where he is performing with his band Babyshambles. The rocker told him Kate had had a scan, everything was fine so they were happy to share the news.

Phil said: "They are both delighted and Pete sounded really excited."

Kate, who has been relaxing in Italy with drug addict Pete, is expected to make an official announcement in weeks.

Phil, 57, Pete's favourite uncle, added:

"That is why they want to get married. Pete told me they want a baby together to cement their marriage.

"I am made up for them. I wish them every success. They're so happy, they love each other. I can't wait for the wedding - we are just waiting for a date."

Two weeks ago, the Sunday Mirror revealed Kate, estimated to be worth £25 million, and Pete were trying for a baby.

Pete rejoined his bandmates for the gigs in Italy after quitting the British tour earlier this month following orders from Kate - known as "The Millionairess" by his close friends.

Heroin and crack addict Pete - who had just finished a successful month-long stint at the Priory Clinic in Southgate, North London - had started using again.

He was spending up to £500 a day on drugs. As a result, Kate told him to pull the plug on the tour so he could continue rehab with her at his side - away from the druggie lifestyle on the road. Those concerts have been rescheduled for next month.

If this story is true.....

I'm feeling pissed off that considering their addictions and issues they are having a baby.

Yet I've just had a MC. My baby was very much wanted. I have never smoked, done drugs and haven't drunk alcohol for over 3 years. I eat a very healthy diet, take my vitamins and exercise as does my DH.

Maybe I am just bitter and twisted but it's just seems bloody unfair sometimes doesn't it!!!

Yeah, it IS unfair superloopy
Can someone please buy them some soap and a paper bag to put over his very ugly face?

Superloopy, very sorry for your MC. Life just ain't fair.

She was photographed drinking and smoking at the Moet & Chandon gig, and presumably she is still in very early pregnancy, which is when drinking is supposed to be most bad. She has abused her body with loads of coke.

He already has a kid (Estile) with Lisa Moorish whom he rarely sees (read his Mum's book or at least his tour/rehab schedules!!), and is reputedly already using to the tune of £500 a day, fresh out of rehab.

They do NOT sound like great parent material. It's all too sad. At least her kid Lila has a responsible dad, this one won't. I hope they find the world's greatest nanny.

"Trying for a baby" with a smackhead?????

The words "stupid" and "cow" come to mind.

Heroin to an addict is like oxygen to you and me. She and the baby will always come second to that hit and high.

She thinks she can change him. She's wrong.
