He's been moved onto a general ward now according to the 7:00 news updates

Oh, that was in the Mirror, sea - the key word was "anyway":

Mytholmroyd · 23/09/2006 23:15

Have to say this is the first time ever I have heard of a "celebrity" having an accident and actually cared as if it was someone I knew personally. I sincerely hope he makes a full recovery and returns safely to his wife and kids. We always watch Brainiac in our house and I just sit there laughing in disbelief at the big overgrown kid taking such obvious delight in blowing things up/dropping them from a great height etc. Not sure I could cope with him as a husband though - he'd drive me mad!

Get well soon Richard.

Really pleased he's doing so well. I heard that James May was meant to be doing the feature and it was changed. No wonder he's spent so much time at the hospital.

i would think that RH would say "What are you doing??" to the producers who are trying to axed the TOP GEAR progs - i dont think he'll be pleased!

sockmonkey · 25/09/2006 14:59

I think top gear being axed would be the last thing RH would want. He has always said it was the programme he aspired to be on. I am glad he is doing better. I hope he continues to improve!
