Fauve, there was a big thread ages ago about encouraging them to not act on their desires while reintegrating them into society. Here . There are people doing interesting work, but as it's such a taboo and difficult area ...

A friend of a friend had worked with paedophiles and said there were quite a few different "reasons" why people became that way, which varied in how treatable they were, iyswim.
