Does anyone else find this whole wedding an obscene use of money, and who are they anyway? Or is it just me? What an ugly pair, and I don't mean looks.

If that is how they are judged[dont agree with judging myself] then mumsnet allow these types of threads Hmm

MmeMorrible · 27/05/2014 12:47

I haven't seen any of the Kardashian TV programmes so I admit, my only awareness of the awfulness of Kim & Kanye is from the extensive newspaper coverage.

Every time I see something about them this song comes into my head. Maybe they could do a cover version as a wedding special? Or maybe it was their ,first dance' song?

or maybe it was 'let me take a selfie' Wink

The back and side of her dress is beautiful. I am not so keen on the bib on her chest.

Nancy66 · 27/05/2014 18:52

I think the dress is really beautiful. Kanye looks very handsome too

spanky2 · 27/05/2014 18:56

Russell Kane fans like me will notice in one photo Kanye has the Essex triple ripple!

What ever they choose to spend there money on is no ones business but theres. When you 'ugly' I'm just guessing you are just jealous

MadameDefarge · 28/05/2014 22:36

I must disagree Pandora. The boundaries between private and public have been deliberately blurred by the bride and groom, whose wedding has been in part paid for by a television company for future broadcast, and who have shared their intimate moments through the media.

This means that they are treating the public as consumers of their product, in this case their wedding, in which case I am fully entitled to have any opinion i want of a commercially produced product made for my consumption.

And, god forbid, share it with other consumers.

HTH in understanding the delicate line between public and private, Pandora.

MadameDefarge · 28/05/2014 22:39

though I would be thrilled if you could decode your last sentence for us. Is it some street chat valiantly masquerading as intelligent discourse?

I am assuming I must be wel jel to consider this bartering of private moments for public consumption for money somewhat vulgar.

Minimammoth · 29/05/2014 08:19

Applauds Madame.

She's dimmer than a two watt bulb and he's a big sulky pants.

Fun to read about the family dramas backstage though! Apparently Kourtney was annoyed because Kim wanted her to dress her two kids in designer gear and Kourtney had to pay for it herself. And Rob (?) her brother wasn't welcome because he hasn't lost enough weight and wouldn't look good in the pics. Grin

Etah · 04/06/2014 14:36

Cant't believe they are fighting backstage over money ffs
And I thought all their dramas was broadcasted (I am naive I know)
Is their show scripted then?

silveroldie2 · 05/06/2014 18:21

Anyone want to take odds their next child will be named South East?
