There is something pleasing about the fact that he incriminated himself in his own book. Idiot.

I liked the Simon Hattenstone piece very much.

I think his arrogance, even up until the point of sentencing, may well stem from him still knowing so much about the darker elements in his circle of influence & involvement. He knows a helluva lot about many people, and will no doubt be thinking he'll still be pulling strings and cashing in favours while trading on what he knows. I don't think we've heard the last of him yet. I just hope that whoever else has been hiding behind his protection thus far, will also soon feel the reach the police have now in these matters.

I am disapointed that the "famous" friends who gave evidence in his favour have not come out and apologised for the distress they gave his victims now that he has been convicted.

I don't know how I feel about that, Boris. In a way I'd hope that friends would stick by someone in that situation. Most of his other famous friends dropped him like a hot brick.

If the friends didn't know what he was doing, though, I can quite see why they dropped him when the facts came out.

They do know now, so they can say they are sorry to his victims now.

He thought he was above the law, he clearly isnt! I'm glad his victims will get some sort of justice.
Money & fame should not make anyone invincible to do as they please!!
