I heard this when I nipped to the shops in the car. I felt chilled. It's so tragic.

This is beyond sad. Those poor, poor boys. When I think of them waking tomorrow without their mummy it makes my heart ache. They'll be so confused.

Wanting to send loving thoughts from a stranger to Peaches' two babies and to Bob and her family. I was just reading her lovely article about attachment parenting.

Very shocked and sad which seems odd as I am a total stranger to them all but it is still true.

What a terribly unlucky family so sad.

medetrina - I have reported to MNHQ there are numerous threads on the death of Peaches and suggested they delete those with no replies to the OP.

I too grew up with Bob's music and with Paula on TV..in fact my one claim to fame is meeting her on the Tube..she was tiny and so friendly and cool.
It was hearbreaking when she died and now Peaches...its desperately, desperately sad. I do wonder how much more Bob Geldof can take.

I had really hoped this was a hoax.
So tragic, Bob Geldofs statement choked me up, that poor man.
My heart goes out to them all.

That statement from Bob is heart breaking. I actually choked up reading it. Just awful, tragic news. She was only 4 years younger than me. Her youngest DC turns 1 in a few weeks; my youngest turns 2 on Friday. I can't imagine what the family must be going through.

RIP Peaches.

How heartbreaking for her family. It really brings is home how life can be so fragile.

Tragic. Why she died makes no difference to her boys. Astala is the same age as my son. He will be so upset and confused about where his mummy has gone. Just thinking about those boys breaks my heart.

Laguardia- your comments are totally unhelpful. I am sure her children would rather have her alive, even if she had addiction issues, just as Peaches would rather have had her mother around too.

Such sad awful news, I am in shock. Her poor little boys, she seemed like a lovely mum.
