I think if all results are negative they will be able to say it was a natural death e.g. Not suicide or misadventure (drugs). I would not be surprised if it was SADS as I can't imagine Peaches choosing to or risking leaving her family. Plus she didn't look healthy which I can imagine could contribute to SADS.

I do not wish to be speculating here, merely saying that I don't believe she would do drugs or take her own life.

I thought the funeral would've been kept more low key. Loads of big names driving through the village. Looked very show biz.

meditrina · 30/04/2014 23:35

The Inquest is due to begin tomorrow, so there should be more (and authoritative) information very soon. But I can't imagine The Times would have it all over the front page unless they were very sure of their source.

MoreCrackThanHarlem · 30/04/2014 23:37

I am very shocked if, of course, that is proved to be true.
I was convinced she wouldn't have put her children at risk of experiencing the same tragedy she had.

Lighthousekeeping · 30/04/2014 23:42

I'm totally in shock. I hope it's not true. Her baby was in the house with her. God, I can't comprehend it.

LilyBobtail · 30/04/2014 23:54

I can't believe this is true. Really hope it's not.

DillydollyRIP · 30/04/2014 23:54

Very surprised at the outcome :(

hackmum · 01/05/2014 08:10

Nancy66 said, either on this thread, or another one about Peaches, that she thought a drugs overdose was likely, given the absence of any other obvious cause.

mummratheevertired · 01/05/2014 09:01

Very sad. I wonder what happened to the paraphernalia? The police said there was none another report said it had been removed? Surely that would lead to a criminal investigation if so.

I am so saddened by this if true and I hope it's not.

StampyIsMyBoyfriend · 01/05/2014 10:41

Really hoping this isn't true. For her sons sakes more than anything :(

Animation · 01/05/2014 10:50

If it's true then this girl was struggling. And the reality looks like it was history repeating itself - with the same thing happening to her mother.

The news came through this morning like a bit of an add on and took me back a bit. I know we had hoped she died of natural causes ..

ExitPursuedByABear · 01/05/2014 11:31

Just read this in the paper.

Absolutely tragic.

It seems people cannot escape their history.

StampyIsMyBoyfriend · 01/05/2014 13:37

People can't escape their history? I beg to differ.

maggiethemagpie · 01/05/2014 14:55

I can't imagine someone doing that on their own with 2 kids present. With another (non drugged) adult in the house - maybe. Out of the house or with the kids left somewhere else - maybe. But not with your kids by your side.
I feel so sorry for her family, bad enough she died but to know she caused it too?

BorisJohnsonsHairdresser · 03/05/2014 09:42

I was reading that the FIL was a social worker. I am wondering what will happen there? He was obviously aware there were issues. He was helping care for the children 3 days a week and brought the baby back to Peaches, and the last of the family to see her alive.

I also read that she had been getting methodone prescriptions, and having treatment locally for addiction, and that they were going to have to sell the family home.

The Cohen family sound like they were very supportive of their Son's family.

pumpkinsweetie · 03/05/2014 14:53

I hope to god this isn't true. If it is I am shocked that she had the baby in bed with her if she was indeed taking herionSad

BorisJohnsonsHairdresser · 03/05/2014 15:34

I hate myself for reading this stuff, and commenting. It is not fair, no family is perfect, we all do the best we can with what life throws at us. The boys will be able to google all of this when they are older. She obviously loved them, I hope they have a lovely a childhood as they can.

Animation · 03/05/2014 15:48

I presume the babies will have a good bond with Tom's parents who I assume will continue to help look after them.
