It's so very very sad, getting married and having her boys seemed to have really been the making of her. So tragic for her family

God, that poor family :(

No parent should have to bury their child, and her sisters, they've already lost their mum (in Tigerlily's case, her dad too) now they've lost a sibling aw well. How awful.

Oh gosh what dreadful news - just 25 years of age. How absolutely tragic.

I've just seen this on the news. What a tragedy. So so young. That poor family, my thoughts are with them all.

So sad for her DH and those poor boys and awful for the Geldofs too. She seemed so full of life and verve.

It's so sad. Am almost crying which seems a bit dramatic but it's just heartbreaking.

She's only a year older than me. Such a young age. My heart goes out to her family and her two beautiful boys.

Just saw this news flash on my phone, took me by surprise and found myself sobbing. Poor DS (12) very confused. I tried to explain the family history, he was very kind and said its quite sane to feel sadness even if you don't know the person.

I grew up watching Paula on tv, and listening to Bob's music, seeing their lives lived publicly, and for the family to have to suffer again just seems beyond reason. And I weep for those little boys RIP Peaches

Just looked at her Twitter. Her last tweet was an Instagram of her as a little girl with her mum :(

So so sad, I'm shocked

Bob Geldof has said in a statement: "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?

"We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken. Bob, Jeanne, Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Geldof."

So much tragedy has beset that family.....

I often wondered if she was on here.

I really hope it was not an overdose and DM has to eat its words.

So so sad. I feel quite shocked and choked up. I have always had a soft spot for Bob Geldof.
