I keep forgetting and then remembering, its so fucking awful. I kept looking at my babies earlier, the whole family must ache.

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 07/04/2014 21:47

Very sad. My DS is 25, such a young age to die. Poor Bob, there cannot be any worse thing for a parent than to bury a child.

jumblebee · 07/04/2014 21:49

Just saw a status on Facebook by some idiot saying "shouldn't do drugs then!!!" Said idiot then went on to say "or do them responsibly". Is there any way people CAN take drugs responsibly? It's so sad that people are automatically jumping to the conclusion of drugs. However the poor woman died, she has left behind 2 young children who will only remember her in pictures. How can people be so heartless?! Confused

10000Fireflies · 07/04/2014 21:51

Such sad news. Glimpsed the news as was tucking 21 month DS into bed and couldn't help but shed a tear or two and count my blessings.

Deepest condolences to her two gorgeous little boys, husband, sister and father. Wishing them all the strength to get through this tragedy together as a family.

RIP Peaches.

spiderlight · 07/04/2014 21:54

It's awful. So sad for her little boys especially :(

RobinSparkles · 07/04/2014 21:57

People are stupid! Regardless of how she died, she has still left behind a family who are broken hearted. She was a young woman who never hurt anybody and from what I can gather (I don't know much about her but nothing says otherwise) she was a good person.

I hope she is with her mum :(.

SqutterNutBaush · 07/04/2014 22:00

I too cried when I hears this news then went upstairs to kiss my 7 and 1 year olds goodnight again, the thought of never being able to do that again is breaking my heart.

Stupidly I also cried thinking of her tiny babies both used to breastfeeding and snuggling up to their mum through the night, what will they think now :(

However she lived her life and however it ended takes nothing away from the fact that a young, loving mother/wife/sister and daughter has left the lives of those who loved her far too soon.

pumpkinsweetie · 07/04/2014 22:00

It's awful isn't it when people make assumptions without knowing nothing at all.

I agree squatter it doesn't matter. Those poor children have lost their mother. Thinking of them crying for her Sad makes me feel so so sad

SecretWitch · 07/04/2014 22:03

Very sad news. My thoughts are with her family..

GlaikitFizzog · 07/04/2014 22:03

Deepest, no. As far as I know Paula died of an accidental OD. And no one knows how peaches has died.

What it does mean is more tragedy has been heaped on that poor family.

RedToothBrush · 07/04/2014 22:08

Comparisons with her mother were, she said, “lame”, fears for her well-being, misplaced, voyeuristic even. “It’s like people almost wish it would happen. But if my mother died in a car crash, does that mean I would have to run out in front of a car and it would be history repeating itself? If I was photographed by a road, would it be: 'Peaches Geldof gets too close! She’s following in the path of her mother!’ every time?”

Excellent obituary in the Telegraph.

Northernlurker · 07/04/2014 22:08

No deepest it means she has lost her father, mother and sister at tragically young ages and has borne more loss than most of us can imagine in a lifetime. Please don't speculate about what's happened. It's just grim.

Forgettable · 07/04/2014 22:09

Deepest, ffs. Fyi Paula Yates did not commit suicide, the coroner ruled her death a result of incautious behaviour.

Blackmouse · 07/04/2014 22:13

Rip peaches

I was only thinking the other day what a wonderful woman she had turned into, she seemed so very happy to become a mum and looked so well and full of health
And gave katie Hopkins a great pasting

Thinking of her family

aermingers · 07/04/2014 22:15

Yes, remember Stephen Gately, people jumped to the conclusion his death was drugs and it turned out he had a heart condition.

supermodel · 07/04/2014 22:16

Really sad and shocked to hear this news today.

lolaisafuckertoo · 07/04/2014 22:17

My eldest is 21. We are living away at the moment. I just want to crush her with hugs. The six year old dd is here in the couch. Do not want to imagine the pain in her family at the moment. Too too young.

Joules68 · 07/04/2014 22:18

Michael hut hence didn't die from suicide either!

lolaisafuckertoo · 07/04/2014 22:18

Agree that she had become a lovely young woman, a happy mother. It seemed she had put so much of her pain behind her if that makes sense

IAmDoneNow · 07/04/2014 22:21

I thought some of the DM comments were bad, then I read the Telegraph comments.

pumpkinsweetie · 07/04/2014 22:26

It's all pure speculation by ghouls and trolls. No one actually knows how she has died yet

somedizzywhore1804 · 07/04/2014 22:29

Such terrible news. My thoughts go out to the Geldofs and Cohens tonight.

aermingers · 07/04/2014 22:29

Nobody really knows why Michael Hutchence died, it's impossible to tell.
