ok, i know a woman wants to look good when the paparazzi are around and she is heading for a big divorce settlement, but isn't the fashion parade going a little too far?

OP posts:

sorry whats with the cif celanign fluid

ocd · 11/08/2006 19:52

please

Roobie · 11/08/2006 19:55

something to do with him starting legal proceedings when she took 3 bottles of cleaner from his house to use in her office

noddyholder · 11/08/2006 19:55

What has she done to make people hate her so much?Too many read and believe the tabloids. No one made him marry her and now he is being portrayed as some sort of national treasure who can do no wrong just because he wrote a few la la la pop songs!Agree with custy that he deliberately made her look silly by changing the locks, what a wanker

lemonstartree · 11/08/2006 23:11

Everybody hates her because she is disgustingly greedy.

To turn down £ 30 MILLION is obscene especially whe you have contributed nothing at all to the earning of that money. That si more than most of us could spend in 5 lifetimes and Much more than she could ever have hoped to earn in her own right

That is in addition to what Macca will pay for his daughter.

she is a talentless, manipulative, gold digger.

twinsetandpearls · 11/08/2006 23:14

ocd he sent her a letter from his solicitor after she took some bootles of cleaning fluid from his office/ house.

She does come across as disgusting greedy I agree. Princess Diana had a far worse time of things, plus two kids to Charlie Boy. She accepted 17 million.

jordylass · 11/08/2006 23:56

She's done well alright for herself, her early years where in slummy flats and she managed to get a job where she travelled the world and made friends out of very rich men, she's worked very hard to get where she is today and I can't see her setteling for anything less than half.

Tinker · 12/08/2006 14:30

Her PR people are behind the photos of her looking drawn/angry/defiant/whatever - good point sobernow.

HeyBaby · 13/08/2006 10:47

Well I don't know how it works these days but hopefully the courts will take into account the short length of the marriage and the fact that she's be getting alimony anyway?

Feel sorry for his kids really. And existing grandkids. It's not right that she should get a chunk of his life's earnings just for spending a few years with him.

HeyBaby · 13/08/2006 10:48

I mean "she'll be" getting alimony ...

Judy1234 · 13/08/2006 12:06

There's a good discussion of it in the Sunday Times Review section today. She should only take out what she's put in, in mmy view and given her marriage has improved her earning capacity perhaps she should be paying him!

PMSL at Rod Liddle in the Sunday Times calling her "Britain's least favourite amputee"

I feel sorry for her - divorce is bad enough withour going through it in the public eye. She's criticised whate er she does and everyone seems determined to hate her. So what if she'll walk away with millions? He can afford it. I don't think we should believe half of the crap that is written in the tabloids.

If he does that two-fingered peace thing I will loose my reason.

And whilst we're on the subject, why does his daughter(I-got-where-I-am-on-my-own-talent)Stella always look so miserable?

Agree with ks. Find that not knowing much about the Beatles bit suspect.

speedymama · 14/08/2006 20:15

Zookeeper, don't feel sorry for her. She has chosen to live her life in the public eye since she sunk her avaricious claws into PM. She even made a TV programmes about her work supporting PETA and her other "good causes". Celebrities like her love to push themselves onto the public when it suits them but the minute it goes wrong, they whine about all the intrusion and how they desperately want privacy and space.

The reason that I can't stomach the woman is because last year she took it upon herself to stalk Jennifer Lopez because she wanted to know why J-Lo chose to wear fur. As far as I'm concerned that is none of her damn business. Wearing fur is not illegal and just because you disagree with it does not give you the right to bully others into your point of view. If she can afford to spend all day stalking someone who chooses to exercise their democratic right to live wear what they choose, no wonder she needs so much money to pay someone to mother her child. Why did she not go and visit the Inuits and tell them off for wearing fur? Self righteous, parsimonious and self-contratulatory narcissistics like her get on my wick.

...but she hasn't killed anyone, has she? Give the poor cow a break! With that money she could have spent her time shopping or whatever women with rich spouses do. PETA isn't a cause I'd lose much sleep over and of course, if it is true, her stalking of JLo was daft, but at least the woman follows her beliefs. If I had a mega-rich husband, I hope I'd use the £££ and fame to, say, highlight causes I felt important. Ok, so I'd help starving babies over animals, but each to her own!

I don't remember anyone having a good word to say about hie ex-wife until she died..

Twinkie1 · 14/08/2006 20:32

God those shoes just don't go - what was she thinking???

Think it was Heat or Now or some other hi-brow publication which ran an article about her having a 'sod off face' - just one of those faces that make you want to shout 'sod off' at her!! I would say she had a slap face caus I just want to slap her - she looks so fucking superior and smug - I am the one who should feel superior and smug least I have more scruples than to shag a crinkly who dyes his hair purple!!!
