ok, i know a woman wants to look good when the paparazzi are around and she is heading for a big divorce settlement, but isn't the fashion parade going a little too far?

But she is rather a grasping bitch with a Diana fixation though, isn't she?

leonstartree - wish i was adept at links but am not, sorry. but pic on front pages of mail today and mirror yesterday were what i was referring to.

i think the best PR LM could do would be to do a billie piper and say 'the marriage was short, i will leave it with what i brought to it, bar a decent settlement for beatrice's education'.

the one on the left?

Horrible outfit IMO!

fairyjay · 10/08/2006 12:29

Not meaning to be horrible, but she's doing remarkably well walking in those platforms, when we were being told a couple of weeks ago that she was struggling to walk, and in dreadful pain.

wheelsonthebus · 10/08/2006 12:29

ned kelly - that's the one. the other was a blue lace number.

What would you prefer she did? Went into purdah?

PifflinePankhurst · 10/08/2006 12:32

Well the whole world predicted this, Maccas kids predicted it.
Macca refused when Hm offered to sign a pre nup
He is a dork in this.
She may be a gold digger but he left himself wide open and asking for it...

Wordsmith · 10/08/2006 12:35

What is it with you lot?

wheelsonthebus · 10/08/2006 12:35

she doesn't have to go into purdah...but would you go and see your solicitor in that 'spice girls' white trouser suit?

OP posts:
Tortington · 10/08/2006 12:39

i dont understand why people hate her.

this is how i see it

before you could say - cold body

he was fucking a modle and getting married

he refused to dot he prenup thing

and now he's a saint becuase shes entitled to half his money

she turned up outside his house to look like a twat he changed the locks

he said " nothing was arranged"

yeah right - he made her look like a twtat AND SHE HAD HER BABY WITH HER

then he sends her a letter over
three BOTTLES OF CIF cleaning fluid

the man is a shit bag.

I think I'd wear what I liked. It amazes me how there's been so much fuss campaigning about free speech and the right to say what you like on this site lately but as for the right of Heather McCartnery to wear what she likes... ffs! No, the thought/style police clamp down again!

PifflinePankhurst · 10/08/2006 12:40

custy thank god I thought I was alone!

wheelsonthebus · 10/08/2006 12:41

not the 'thought' police - just my opinion. that is what free speech is about. you express yours, i express mine. that's how this website works. if you don't like my opinion, that is fine.

OP posts:
fairyjay · 10/08/2006 12:41

Ah, but the campaigning was for the right to say what we think

Carmenere · 10/08/2006 12:44

I agree with Custy et al. His kids were afraid of him looking like a fool and he does, a bitter old fool. I don't have a huge admiration for HMM but I don't have vitriol for her either. She deserves half of his income for the time that they were together like any other woman.
Although that white outfit with the platforms is very chavvy.

Wordsmith · 10/08/2006 12:45

Absolutely Wheels and Fairyjay, so live and let live, eh?

NotQuiteCockney · 10/08/2006 12:46

Is there anything she could say, do or wear that wouldn't make people hate her?

wheelsonthebus · 10/08/2006 12:49

i don't hate her. i don't hate anyone. i just think she should walk away and forget the money, personally - one way to deal with her difficult PR image. marriages break down, the caravan moves on. She can make her own money surely.

OP posts:
winnie · 10/08/2006 13:01

custy, I agree

NotQuiteCockney · 10/08/2006 13:02

But people get angry on divorce and combatative, and fight for things they don't strictly "need". That's what people do. Should she be somehow immune, just because she's famous?

I could happily punch PM in the face if he pulls that god-I-am-so-hip-V-sign-ooooooo-mouth-photo-op face one more time.

The man is v annoying.

No opinion on her, but that outfit is foul, midrifs are so last year.

bundle · 10/08/2006 18:13

she tried to chat up my dh on the heathrow express once so i have a low opinion of her...
