I can't help but feel sorry for her but if I am honest, I also think "well you should have expected it". He has a talent for moving on to someone younger/richer etc....what a cad!

Thing is, Della and now Anthea both really loved him despite his failings - I pity any female he is involved with.

I may have to go and get a T Shirt.....

LadyBeagleEyes · 15/06/2013 21:37

Well I love Holly, so there
She's a daytime telly presenter, she isn't supposed to have gravatis.
She comes across as warm, friendly and fun.
I think I'd like her in real life.

Chubfuddler · 15/06/2013 21:37

That towel fold is like a girl guide bed roll

God that took 10 year old me some time to master

Wahla · 15/06/2013 21:38

The t-shirt thing is awesome but what's with the bread? Has the daft bint never heard of a hoover?

Chubfuddler · 15/06/2013 21:38

Why isn't she supposed to have gravitas?

Anyway it's worse. She lacks credibility.

Sparklingbrook · 15/06/2013 21:39

Yes but LBE she needs gravitas to interview Politicians and people who have been in the News as awful things have happened to them and their families. Her head tilt/sincere face is really fake. Sometimes she cries. Hmm

Have you had a horrible flashback Chub? Grin

hermioneweasley · 15/06/2013 21:40

I LOVED the towel folding. I need to get rid of the kids so I can spend tomorrow folding things.

hermioneweasley · 15/06/2013 21:41

Wahla - she has def heard of a Hoover. She teaches us the proper way to do it in another episode. Grin

Chubfuddler · 15/06/2013 21:42

The towel folding I get. It's a thirds/thirds/ thirds thing.

The t shirt fold is like sorcery.

hermioneweasley · 15/06/2013 21:43

Why should there be a woman with gravitas? Why does the bloke have to be the credible one (can you imagine being so vapid you make Philip Schofield seem heavy weight?). Judy was brilliant - warm, accessible, but a journalist with a hard fought track record. Why can't we have someone smart?

hermioneweasley · 15/06/2013 21:44

Why shouldn't, why shouldn't. Not why should - obviously.

Sparklingbrook · 15/06/2013 21:46

Ooh Pip Schofield isn't credible either. And as for Mr & Mrs Holmes. Sad

Eamonn was mean to AT on breakfast telly.

Chubfuddler · 15/06/2013 21:47

Eamon is not nice

hermioneweasley · 15/06/2013 21:48

There has never been a replacement for Richard and Judy in my eyes. I like John Barrowman as the himbo though, and you could have Louise off BBC breakfast as the serious one. Job done.

Sparklingbrook · 15/06/2013 21:50

Steph off BBC is my favourite person ever. She is fabulous. Pretty, smart and looks like she would be a great laugh.

Sparklingbrook · 15/06/2013 21:50

Sorry Steph off BBC Breakfast. Smile

LadyBeagleEyes · 15/06/2013 21:52

I think that Holly sometimes get's too emotionally involved.
I don't see that as a bad thing, she's not Jeremy Paxman.
And I love the interviews her and Phil do when they're trying to stop laughing at some of the nuttier guests they have on there.

Sparklingbrook · 15/06/2013 21:52

Check this out

TSSDNCOP · 15/06/2013 21:53

oh dear

They might not have been sponsored, but at what point on your wedding day do you unwrap bars of chocolate and look like total twats to camara?

meglet · 15/06/2013 21:54

I have the same linen cupboard labels as Anthea. Nickel plated from the White Company IIRC.

they didn't fit in the poxy airing cupboard in this house so are stuffed in a drawer until we move. Anthea would have a heart attack if she saw my airing cupboard

hermioneweasley · 15/06/2013 21:55

Sparkling, you are right, Steph is fab. Business insight delivered in a Geordie lilt. Love it!

Sparklingbrook · 15/06/2013 21:56

I am a bit in love with her hermione. Grin

hermioneweasley · 15/06/2013 21:56

I don't even have a linen cupboard. I am unworthy of Anthea.

scottishmummy · 15/06/2013 21:58

god,I hope she doesn't do any more telly to revive her fluff and fold career

LadyBeagleEyes · 15/06/2013 21:59

I do love her accent, though I've no interest in business.
