Short version here I'll have a dig for more details. Oh happy day! :o

"people are allowed to discuss the facts of a legal case!"

True, but we don't know what the facts of the case are and what may or may not be used as evidence in the proceedings.

Northernlurker · 15/05/2012 11:00

Speculating as to her guilt and afte 'in the Big House' is NOT talking about the facts of the case.

Greythorne · 15/05/2012 11:03

Ok, agreed. The comment about the ringlets and the big house are not factual.

But I do think we should be able to discuss this case.

bruxeur · 15/05/2012 11:08

No, she really does have ringlets.

jaquelinehyde · 15/05/2012 11:09

I hope there isn't a huge wait for the trial date.

FrankWippery · 15/05/2012 11:11

Good. I'm sure there will be more info to come too.

noddyholder · 15/05/2012 11:13

Hopefully this will finish cameron

Nancy66 · 15/05/2012 11:14

She'll be fine in prison - they're like luxury spas these days

Grin
GoPoldark · 15/05/2012 11:16

Grin bruxeur

The ringlets are an open and shut case. Unless the 7 boxes contained her secret collection of hair straighteners.

GoPoldark · 15/05/2012 11:16

Yeah I'd like to see Cammo explain the hair straighteners.

Get0rfMoiLand · 15/05/2012 11:17

Grin nancy. That's fantastic.

Legally can we have threads to talk about pending cases? I know bugger all about it.

Get0rfMoiLand · 15/05/2012 11:18

Perhaps those 7 boxes contained some clairol rollers and some henna.

Perhaps she doesn't have natural red curly hair after all.

OliviaLMumsnet · 15/05/2012 11:18

We have amended your typo, OP

Can we talk freely about this subjcet Olivia - would you be able to clarify?

noddyholder · 15/05/2012 11:20

Wonder where the binned laptop will feature in all of this.

Get0rfMoiLand · 15/05/2012 11:20

Oh nancy you cynic you.

I am sure that the timing of the birth will be purely coincidental. Wink

donnie · 15/05/2012 11:37

Didn't Jeffrey Archer get 7 years for Perverting the Course of Justice? I am not sure of 'conspiracy' to attempt the same is more or less serious or indeed the same.

Either way I am very glad indeed. It's been a long time coming. The way she conducted herself at Leveson made me so angry, so patronising and vaguely amused, as if she has such a profound sense of entitlement she is doing the whole world a favour by even deigning to turn up.

donnie · 15/05/2012 11:39

I wonder if Dave and Sam will come out in public support of her, as they did with Coulson and announce to the world that she is 'still a friend' Grin

donnie · 15/05/2012 11:40

noddy - do you think it's the end for Dave? I just think his position as a friend and confidante of these people makes his position untenable.

NicholasTeakozy · 15/05/2012 11:42

Thanks Olivia!

OP posts:
noddyholder · 15/05/2012 11:43

donnie I hope so. They were all in each others pockets I don't see how they can wriggle out of this. I wonder if she will drop everyone in it now. Murdoch is more or less finished in the UK and she and her dh and staff all charged I wouldn't be surprised to see her produce a bombshell

Nancy66 · 15/05/2012 11:45

Andy Coulson will get a long sentence - that's an absolute given. Apparently he's been told by his lawyers to expect up to six years.

If RB is sentenced too that doesn't look good for Dave

sieglinde · 15/05/2012 11:48

We Shall Overcome... Grin Lovely to see those who plainly thought themselves above the law now in its grasp.
