Stephen Lawrence murder. Verdict: guilty

From the BBC, Dobson and Norris both found guilty of murder.

I don't think they have expanded on their claim to be innocent, have they? If they claimed that it was on the basis that they didn't actually use the knife they would have to admit that they were part of the gang, were therefore party to the murder, as the judge says, and especially they would be under enormous pressure to tell the police who did use the knife, and who else was there.

I think it's probable / possible (speculation based on reading the material on other members of their group of associates, the character studies and the dynamics between them - who took what role in the activities they have been convicted of and arrested for since the night of the murder) that one of these was not the knife-user - and hope that he will now co-operate and say who was.

You are absolutely right Indie, I am speculating and I should have made it clear

They have no reason to say they were guilty.

It's not as if they've suddenly grown a conscience.
