londonone a holding company is responsible for the actions of its subsidiaries and as such the executive committee of the holding company would have to be made aware of any risks in terms of legislative action that might impact the corporate reputation and (for a listed company) therefore the share price of the holding company. Have you ever seen a listing document for a US-listed company? There are PAGES and PAGES on risk factors. Ignorance is either incompetence, a failure of corporate governance or a complete lie.
