I just don't understand why anyone wouldn't want to wear something that symbolises their love and commitment to someone? In makes things appear a bit unequal to me.

I think I'm right in saying William doesn't get any time off for royal engagements/charity malarkey - he does this in his scheduled free time. His Dad's office at Clarence House have made it clear he is treated no differently to any another pilot (nor is Harry in his training/exercises in Afgh).

I'm hugely proud of Will and Harry and the fine men they have become.

I hope 29th April becomes a day of national celebration of all the history and pomp and ceremony the Royal Family brings to the UK and not a chance for whingeing. Papers are filled with bad news/moaning/negativity every other day of the year can we not just take one day to be happy and celebrate a fine young man marrying his partner....and a future King and Queen starting their life together, which, whether you like it or not, you are going to be exposed to for the rest of your life.

Let's celebrate with them, no?

Is he refusing which sounds pretty much like he is making a real point of it against someones wishes or is he just saying he isn't going to wear one because he just doesn't want to. It is hardly going to be the case that someone on a night out mistakes him for a single man and tries to snog him now is it?

I haven't read that he's refused, I've read that he chooses not to wear a signet ring or a wedding ring and Kate is fine with that.

Why do people care what he wears? He seems a nice hooray and not too stuffy leave him alone.

He's making a fairly public announcement anyway, what with giving everyone a free bank holiday

I wear one (bling & all) my hubby doesn't! Married 17 years & hasn't made a blind bit of difference, he doesn't wear a watch either, but still knows the time! It's a choice not a statement!
