I think they are bloody amazing - 17 days on 2 days ratons. Months in the dark etc.

But it keeps nagging at me - where have they been going to the loo?

Ah, thanks for clearing that up or me. I'm so glad this news story has has a (so par) positive outcome. Amazing that they have managed to get them out well beofre Christmas as well.

Wonderful! Just shed a tear when the oldest Miner aged 63 was brought to the surface. He has been a Miner since he was 12!!!

I can't believe how efficient and organised the rescue has been - no cock-ups, no delays, nice and calm. Joy to watch.

Prayers answered and miners are safely united with their families. At last a good news story to make us all smile.

I must be made of stone. I find this story tedious and over dramatised in the wrong way. They are not hero's - they had no choice - they did what humans do - survive.

The real issue for me is how the company allowed the men to go into the mine when it was likely they knew there were safety issues. Profit over safety again.

I don't think you are LadyBlaBlah. The press coverage has been overdone and has become tedious IMO. Is there now to be an enquiry into safety at the mine? I would hope so, especially before workers are allowed to return under the same conditions.
