What do you think of the pictures of David Cameron drinking Guinness at 3.30pm in the afternoon, with new baby daughter in the room?
Responsible parenting?

What you don't see is that less than an hour after the DM took that photo DC spilt his fifth beer down his front, he ripped his shirt and girdle off letting his beer belly drop out from under his string vest and gave Sam a back hander because it was her fault he missed his mouth as she distracted him by "making that fucking annoying cooing racket at the brat".

According to a source anyway.

claig · 10/10/2010 11:05

don't believe anything that source, Mandelson, says

DCameron · 10/10/2010 11:06

Cain Shock were you there?

RedBlueRed · 10/10/2010 11:18

I can neither confirm nor deny my presence.

Gorionine, do you think there's a case for road-teshting Guiness on Frosties, for the sake of the cause?

ROFL Cain. Aye, you're not getting down with the kids, are you D, you're just a whippet-fancying flat-cap wannabe? Grin

I dread to think what similar analysis of DH circa DD1's birth would say about us - pseudo-European pretensions and work-avoidance probably (mainly propped on the sofa, winding DD1, with a glass of Stella generally.

I love the frappacino conspiracy too - the level of subversive tetch required to insist on an iced coffee stand-in for your man of the people shot would actually make me like him more.

scruffymuff · 10/10/2010 18:36

A few drinks in the evening got me and dh through the newborn stage!

We even had one in a pub once with the baby with us!

Bet that shocked ya!

gorionine · 11/10/2010 06:17

Snigger, on Frosties?

No thanks Smile

You try it?Grin

LtEveDallas · 11/10/2010 06:37

One of my fave photos when DD was a baby is a pic of her sitting on DHs knee holding his can of Carlsberg!

It's actually just a quirk of the setting (too young to really hold onto it) but looks so funny. My mother was horrified, so I made sure I displayed the photo when the HV came round!

I think the DC photo is lovely, and I REALLY want another baby now

Willabywallaby · 11/10/2010 07:14

I like the pic, but my eye was drawn to the right hand side and I like the mirror reflection. Is the personal photographer for future publicity/family album?

RunawayPumpkin · 11/10/2010 07:19

What do I think?
Nothing, I could not give a shit, hardly a lone parent hitting the crack is it!
Some people need to get a life

RedBlueRed · 11/10/2010 18:37

Oi! what have you got against single mums on crack?!

Thats right, turn this into a single-mum bashing thread!

There were photos in the Metro today of David Beckham beating his 5 year old, oh no hang on they were playing football, but thats not shocking enough

jodevizes · 11/10/2010 19:10

I think he may have grabbed it off her when he saw the photographer. :)

NordicPrincess · 13/10/2010 14:33

hes fine having a drink with his children around, fuck the msg hes a human being not just pm. hes a wanker too, but in this instance for once hes not doing much wrong.

If you want to get pissed off about leaders doing dubious things or setting a bad example try getting pissed off about bush and blairs dinners with the families of osama bin laden!!

scotsmuminengland · 13/10/2010 15:39

OMG He was drinking during the day!!!!!

FFS - who hasn't had a drink during the day at some point. I know I have, a lot actually.

complimentary · 13/10/2010 18:37

Most on this site have had a drink when they have a new born baby, par for the course.

complimentary · 13/10/2010 19:10

Jacster How can you possibly equate David Cameron having a glass of guinness in the afternoon to our lovely lads/ladettes, binge drinking and heaving up all over town centres at night? I've met Cameron and you could not wish to meet a more responsible, charming and genuine person. He's not PC (well, he is a bit) and so he has a drink, and does not try to hide it, unlike others who are absolute boozers at Westminster and get away with it! (by the way I don't think we should subsidise the Westminster Bars!)Grin
