Surely, nowdays, insurance is an absolute essential for travelling? I expect I'm being horrible but I really think it's a bt much...

I am sorry if you thought I meant you were stupid. I did not say that, nor did I mean to impy it. I said I found it hard to believe that anyone considering foreign travel was not aware they needed travel insurance.

I think that is a fair statement.
