Ruby I have been trying to work out similar things with my clothes for wearing in school; I need more smart clothes I can wear in this gorgeous weather.

I have just been working my way through the study pack I need to complete while on these placements the next couple of weeks there is so much to do, next year at uni is gonna be HARD if this is what I have to do prior to the course starting

you have distracted me! with this talk of Phase Eight

filing all the stuff I threw under the sofa two weeks ago - 4 concertina files worth and have DRUMMMMM ROLL found my DRIVING LICENCE.. so I can have a lesson on Friday after all YAY
put lots of dates in diary too
also attended Scout AGM

now dh is annoying me by mentioning the fact that there is no food in house except for an [unroasted]chicken. We have already had Moussaka, salad, cider, couscous

He wants cakes and ale.

Also looked again at Secondary School application forms which I had filed from last year, they look slightly less scarey this year. At least that is something not to worry about Dyls. I think most things are scarey until you are actually in the middle of them, and then they are just tiring.

OP posts:
dylsmum1998 · 21/06/2010 23:04

Swan yay for sortin out paperwork and finding Licence

I'm hoping that it won't be too scary, I also ordered one of the text books I will need and that came earlier its very thick and has tiny writing. Maybe I'll open it again when I am not feeling tired.

My lovely friend's hubby found a tv in their basement for me, so I don't need to worry about buying a new one for a while yet. So that is good.

scattyspice · 22/06/2010 08:00

.....Hello.........can I come back to play?

Been terribly distracted in the past few months but, well, the distraction is over and, well, I need to re-connect with reality.

All is quite well at Grouchy Towers. Seems I've got a handle on the fatigue now so that isn't getting in the way.

So what have I missed? Hope everyone and DPs/DCs are well

Grouchy x

swanriver · 22/06/2010 12:53

Did you go anywhere special Grouchy????

Back from dentist and work, feeling like more teeth problems will follow if I don't lie down, only kitchen is depressingly yuk.

What's for dinner? chicken, baked potatoes, salad.

bbl after horizontal.

Hope Dad's visit a success ML sorry, you may have said something already about that.

Depressed by budget....loosing tax credits, public sector worker pay freeze...ho hum...

Now for schol run, thinking of wearing surgical mask and goggles...aim to return to air tight house asap...which sadly is boiling but cant open windows...desperately trying to return my eyes to vaguely normal appearnace by tomorrow!!

BBtomorrow folks, either very fed up or very happy LOL

grouchyoscar · 22/06/2010 18:00

Hello again

Hi Swan good to see you. We went to Glasgow for the Snow Patrol concert. It was stunning, in fact so stunning I barely remember it Met the lead guitarist at a Chinese restaurant (I had collected cards for the singer's b'day so I thought 'he'll pass them on Ed ran in, introduced himself and had a lovely chat with him (all adults just turned into clouds, it was just Ed and Nathan!)

So I was totally Snow Patrol focused for the past few months (can I do it? Wiill we be OK etc etc) Still SP obbsessed but I've now got a grip and re-entered reality.

The house has ticked over quite well, FLYing means it could remain easy enough to keep in check. I've missed you all

Gx

dylsmum1998 · 22/06/2010 18:40

OFM HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND GOOD LUCK FOR TOMORROW

mickylee weather its great - watch it change at the weekend when we are home

Have been told todaay by a yr 1 I am not a grown up thank goodness for that I never want to grow up

Have been doing lots of reading with the class I was with today, it really brought it home how varied the abilities within the class are. A couple of the children brought me there books and read from cover to cover weasy as pie. Others needed lots more help (must confess I enjoyed reading with these ones more as I love to see their faces light up when they managed a difficult work)

anyway back to reality need to do some housework

back in a bit

MickyLee · 22/06/2010 19:01

SWAN poor you.. hope you feel better soon. Dads visit was great and lovely to spend time together but very tiring as it was a holiday for him so we were out from morning to night. the house was a tip once he left.. but bonus he left me 200 quid which we reaaly needed as DH is not earning any money at the moment.
dyls sounds like you have found your calling.. glad you feel satisfied in your work.
ofm can't believe your hayfever is so bad.. it must be dreadful for you.

DD much better but didn't leave the house or send her to school today just in case. 2 children in the house bored for the day equals a very messy house though so must get on top of everything.

Today-
Clean up from breakfast done
tidy lounge done
hang out washing done
clean balcony
Mission
Cook dinner done
ironing done
quick vac round done

The undone can get carried forward.

grouchyoscar · 22/06/2010 19:43

Happy Birthday OFM x Have a great one

swanriver · 22/06/2010 23:38

Yes, that's what I meant Grouchy

had a purposeful and floaty eve taking 2 children for a late eve swim, the joys of having children that don't need to go to bed anymore! Must count my blessings!
everything seems in comparatve order now
and I did the 27 or 72 flng bogie with car whilst children in it!

Also got kids to lay table, water plants, take out rubbish, make salad dressing, spin salad. The art is to expect little and praise much

Happy Birthday OFM
