OverflowingMum · 23/06/2010 19:57

evening all

got the job ...whoohoo

now drinking too much wine...back for serious catch up and FLYing tomorrow

swanriver · 23/06/2010 20:37

tell all! did they ask any tricky questions or was it straightforward?
I told you they wanted you!

Been piano lessons x 2
swimming (slightly frazzled trying to fit that in but just about managed - kids loved it)
Beavers more tree identification they do draw a lovely tree! and more dodgeball
pickup dd and fall out with Brownie leader over subs payment (all £7 of it) tried to explain that I thought dh had paid it and she was most unpleasant left a rather nasty taste in my mouth, but can't take dd out of Brownies - is there some rivalry with the Beavers I wonder?

all now watching football, they need an early night Tis Sports Day tomorrow, and I need my dd to win/come second in something the boys certainly won't..

OP posts:
swanriver · 23/06/2010 20:40

Scatty it is really exhausting. Next week piano teacher is away, that's something! But the Beaver lady has planned a evening of fun! aargh.

See you tomorrow

swanriver · 24/06/2010 18:29

Scatty LOL that's the spirit

Dh not well at moment, but he says he doesn't want to think about it at moment, another test from dr next week, so that is worrying. He wants me to go to party; actually I think he just wants me out of house so he can think straight. Anyway this is hanging over us atm, so may colour my posts, or maybe I won't say much over next few days/weeks -
my new theory of life is that one basically just lurches from one crisis to the next.

hope everyone continues as well as they can.
nutty hope paddling was fun

OP posts:
wendyhappysmile · 24/06/2010 20:30

swan Sorry to hear that, men do seem to sweep things under the carpet like that - please don't leave us for a few weeks we will get you through it! you are right about life, one has periods of calm and periods of turbulence, and it's all about how well you can cope, or what friends you have chosen in life who help you to cope.
hark at me philosophising.

Nuttybear · 24/06/2010 22:36

swan hugs
Sorry not been a good fly friend this week the sun is out and the garden is calling me. DS has come up in a heat rash as I expected. Need to go to the G.P and get some cream. Didn't need it last year as the sun didn't come out really to effect him.
Otherwise.....I typed something but deleted it as I didn't want to tempt fate, He is a wicked man. (why should fate be a wicked woman?????)
MC trying to lose weight but feel bloated and fat at the mo! Why does my body not get into the swing of this fitness mauky!!!
Off to find a good campsite near Durdle Door Dorset, Anyone know a good one?
Anyway have a good night all
