Hi JKS, was wondering how you were getting on. Had a good week?

My day got very horrible with DS being naughty and whingy. Suspect he's getting the sore throat as he wouldn't eat any dinner. Sounds like he's still awake.

• Me up, showered and dressed done
• beds made, windows and curtains open done
• DS up, nappy changed and dressed, then downstairs for boob done
• spatone, oj and vitamins done
• breakfast done
• coffee + check email and online banking doing
• laundry - fold dry washing done, put 2nd load in done, put clean washing away
• kitchen - dry pots done, clean sink done, wash pots done, wipe sides down done, clean floor
• living room - tidy! ish
• lunch done
• walk done
• garden
• feed the birds done
• take rubbish, recycling and compost caddy out done
• 5 o?clock - tea done
• wash pots and tidy kitchen done
• tidy downstairs done hoover done
• DS bath and bed done
• wipe round bathroom, teeth and face done
• write list for tomorrow done
• craft etc.

DS daily -

• messy activity done painting table with Nutella instead of eating it
• shoe walk yes quite harrowing

• plan Christmas 2010, next - decide on gifts to make, use what I?ve got for now- get cross-stitch framed, mark dates in Calendar for making Christmas cake etc.

• mirrors - put mirror tiles up above bathroom sink, other mirror up above dressing table
• Birthday presents to buy/make - step-MIL - wrist-warmers
• work out what?s wrong with breadmaker still flat, try some new yeast? new yeast bought

The baby woke me up at 4.30 by kicking me sooo hard

Got the tv aerial man coming sometime today, so kind of have to have a bit of a tidy up and can't even go out to ignore the mess.

Can I ask you all about carpet-cleaning?
I need to spruce it up a bit. There's 'stuff' that needs picking off, eg. dried spat-out biscuit (I always get the worst off but there's always residue ) and it needs a general freshen up.
It's a mottled dark brown, so doesn't need to sparkle, and it needs to be done before next Saturday. Recomendations?

I did mine with the JHL? JML? miracle dry foam before we got our washer and was quite impressed. Fairy liquid and a stiff brush is very good but quite hard work!
