Evening!

Freaky,

HMHB, agree with JKS, could be very worthwhile giving the babyled weaning a try if she's not having the spoon.

After lunch we out to a car show with ILs and had a ride on the hertage railway. DS loved it.

DH is away til Thursday now, but he's got a few days off then.

Hope the weather holds, by washing backet is overflowing (as per usual!)

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 11/04/2010 22:23

I tried giving her some banana which she put in her mouth and spat out and some broccoli which she put in and spat out .

Maybe I should just leave it for a bit. Have had some good advice on weaning thread about getting her to go cold turkey with DH on the bottle.

Alicetheinvisible · 12/04/2010 07:22

CC We're good, actually don't know anything about it even though I have had the radio on, heard something about Hollywood on the radio, assumed it was ours,
unfortunately there are a small minority who just don't want to see progress being made,

My dcs hear the word bomb or somebody being shot and they are shocked, think it is something that happens on TV whereas when I was little it was common place

HMHB Sorry I missed your post about feeding dd I have been there with ds,
dh will tell you the worst night of his life is when I went out with the mums from toddlers and ds screamed the whole time he had to put the EBM onto a spoon and pour it into his mouth

I then spent the guts of £40 on different bottles and teats, sorry but he wasn't having any of it, he didn't like food either EXCEPT Petit filous,
which he lived off for about 2/3 months and also sorry to say the only way I got him on to bottles was because he had V&D and hardly fed for 2/3 days and so my milk supply was very low just when he was really hungry, and he took a bottle and screamed the whole way through it,
It was awful for me, but he was fine and then when it came to try getting him off bottles the wee bugger took forever and now will only take milk on his cereal

Don't think any of that was any use but just to let you know I have been there and give hugs

Right I am determined to make more headway with ironing

also
run hoover over hall & living room
clean dcs bedroom windows
take something out of frezzer for dinner

PlumBumMum · 12/04/2010 10:05

Alice ds does that with the potty too! The worst was when dd was just trained and did a poo in it then brought me the poo in her hand to show me!

HMHB poor you, don't know what to advise...if it's any consolation dd wouldn't touch solids til she was 13 months and I fully remember the stress of it. She was however on bottles by then having refused the breast from 5 months so it was a bit easier on me (although I still did all the feeds). DS was impossible to get off the breast, got him to take one bottle a day from about 10 months but he didn't have it for long, it was as if he realised he was having it instead of boob so stopped taking it!

CC have just had a yell at mine too, they are fighting and whining non stop and ds is being destructive throwing stuff everywhere.

I think I must have imagined Saturday's events...have heard nothing!

Am having one of those days where I haven't stopped but have achieved nothing

DONE

bath toys tidied
my bed stripped
load of washing x 2 in

Freakoid - DD sounds similar to your DS, boobs are just better in her mind (bless).
