Plum - it is definitely much brighter tonight, yey! And isn't that a 'throwing-off-slatterns' offence?!?!

HMHB I felt like that after dd2 was born looking back I think I had PND, I did,

and still have't to get motivated to go out and see friends etc, I've never been to the doctors and I'm not against taking tablets etc (infact I'm abit addicted to paracodol soluble)
Its just I feel its something that I can work on, then I worry am I just kidding myself

JustKeepSwimming · 28/02/2010 19:03

HMHB - Firehouse Dog a favourite here
Worth looking into the PND possibility.
When i look back to most of last year pre-ADs i was becoming more and more hermit-like, not going out, not doing things that didn't have to be done, etc.
Also tough when you are on your own with the DC.

Any ideas please with this thanks

Excellent potty training JKS

HMHB if you think it could be then see hv or gp, am almost certain I had it after ds but never told anyone because I knew H would be angry with me if I did have it. Now feel v v guilty about the 'missed' time with the dc where I didn't enjoy them or do stuff with them.

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 28/02/2010 19:34

Thanks all for pnd comments. I had been feeling fine but have noticed I don't want to go to town or speak to people this last week or so. I had really bad pnd with DS and this is not as bad as that but don't want it to get that bad. HV knows about pnd last time and is really nice. There is another issue. I am still not recovered physically from the ventouse delivery and am a bit worried about that. Am waiting for consultants appointment.

I am going to try to go to town tomorrow as a bit of a mission.

PlumBumMum · 28/02/2010 20:27

Freak
HMHB good luck tomorrow
JKS my dcs took ages going from the potty to big toilet in the house but would go to the toilet in other places, even now dd2 looks too small she teters on the edge

Sometimes I do wish we all lived near one another and we could meet up, although the idea of an mn meet up would scare the b'geesus out of me, the slatterns don't scare me as much

JustKeepSwimming · 28/02/2010 21:01

Freak for you

HMHB - good luck with trip out tomorrow.

Plum - i've been to meet some of my AN/PN group but did find it a bit scary until it happened.
We would never be able to meetup at someones house though, just think of it!

It would be so lovely to meet wouldn't it? Don't think we could be further apart though!

JKS - Obviously can't help on your other thread, but how fab that you are moving to the 'next level' of toilet training already!

Freak What a twunt he is.

HMHB - Agree that the not wanting to go anywhere or see anyone is a bit of a red flag. I still struggle a bit with that and have to remind myself to get in touch with people etc. Glad you have a good HV, ours are useless. Can you have a chat with her?

Freaky - if only my window cleaner was young and hunky as opposed to a miserable old bugger! The outsides are fine, they were done 2/3 weeks ago - it is the insides where little fingers point at things through them that are the problem!

Alice - you have done loads! I hate it when the whole house gets in a state, it is so depressing. I bet you do more than one room today now that you're going

DH has left for his interview, he so wants this job, he has been twitching around the house all weekend. I'm desperate for him to get it, mainly because if he doesn't he'll be really grumpy for days

How often do you all hoover and sweep your main living areas? I seem to be doing the living room, hall and kitchen every day at the moment, it's so annoying!

I should sweep the living areas everyday, but have kind of lost my way with things recently (combination of ms and tiredness) just desperate to get it back to how it was last summer. I was doing really well and the house never looked too bad, so if someone was coming round, all i would need to do was put toys away and hoover. Now i can't face anyone coming over because it is so bad!

Good Luck to your DH Ali

FreakoidOrganisoid · 01/03/2010 11:16

HMHB we could do butterfly's suggestion of all cleaning each others houses

Ali downstairs gets a quick hoover everyday (sometimes twice depending on ds) but proper hoovering under/behind things is far less frequent. I had a brief spell of mopping the kitchen every day as well but now I tend to just wipe obvious spills and mop when I can be bothered

Alice you are doing well
