Definitely not high energy here. DC just want to watch Dora and Peppa over and over again and I want some adult company tbh. Life can be so monotonous sometimes (moan moan moan whinge whinge). Think it's worse at weekends because all my friends are doing family stuff and I'm on my own with the dc-again

• make compost bin - empty old bin, read drill instructions done find safety goggles and gloves done
• Back to cloth! - handwash wool covers , get changebag ready for cloth, buy larger trousers (for DS)
• read up info on recycling - DMBC guidelines for green box done, google for other stuff done

DIY jobs -

• paint front door - 1 coat inside, 1 coat outside
• get frame for fireplace print - what size? bought frame closest in size Need to get custom-sized to fit the mount. rather pricey - remove mount? new mount done! put up in kitchen done!
• buy a small mirror for above the bathroom sink
• big mirror up in bedroom
• other mirror up - quite heavy, will picture hook do?
• get new curtains for front room
• shelves in cupboard + clean and anti-mildew paint (project for next Dad visit)

OMG My whole body is numb and my head is spinning no wonder that woman is skinny

Plum - not sure she did it the healthy way tbh, was shocked when i saw a recent pic of her.

Freak - i totally get you as DH works a lots at weekends. the thing is if you ask people, their DH's may well work lots too, so they may be sat at home thinking the same thing.

Freak totally agree with JKS my dh is out at work now and although hes here in the mornings its not the same doing bedtime on your own all the time

I think I need to come and live near my slatternly friends I can go through old pics with wasting, play lego with ali, watch cheesy films with JKS, be a lightweight with HMHB and eat plums cakes and meet her BIL

Wasting I think actually that is it-has been 3 months now and the novelty has worn off a bit, still it's better than living with him (and I used to sit on my own every night then too!)

Also my neighbours have had a busy weekend, friends over both fri and sat night and today for lunch, makes me more aware that I'm on my own.

JKS My dh is always working and does do quite a physical job but he does do things like this and it bugs the s**t out of me

eg: the one day he had to do both school runs, ie: I sit at the school for an hour bored out of my mind, maybe call down to shop get bread and milk(3mile round trip)
HE drove to a shop (at least a 12 mile round)to buy a magazine & sweets for dcs

and I thought ffs you could have done it just once to see what I do everyday (exp Wednesday)
(yes I do go to some of the mums for a coffee some days but I don't like imposing so most sat at school)

The thing is not that he wanted/needed to do some work, DS2 was napping, DS1 would happily watch a film, etc.
It was the way he announced it just as i walk in the door, after telling me he's been out having fun, etc.
Am over it now and he has said sorry and does recognise the manner was the annoying thing, not the actual work itself.
