Apologies for title.

Write lists, chat about stuff, motivate, celebrate and commiserate.

Any list format is acceptable.

Including 'coffee and MN' on to do list is encouraged.

LOL at all you hardcore drinkers.

lousouthend · 24/02/2010 23:00

Please can I join, its hard this thing having a tidy house with kids as I didn't really manage it when it was just me. I am not even aspiring to the giddying height of clean as yet. Is it just me or do you think it should be easy but it is so not and it is so boring and I just hate it and I want to have a cleaner but can't afford. Phew, hope this hasn't brought anyone down but god I feel better!
Goodnight
X
PS | Promise not to moan again and will do a list tomorrow

Welcome lou Moaning is allowed here, worry not! Totally agree with you - I found it such hard work when I first had DS, but am much more organised now and at least some things get done without me really having to think about it.

Lou i am the same, never managed to keep on top of stuff when it was just me and DH, but strangely i am much more organised since having DD. Reload dishy
Empty tumble - going to try new approach of a basket each for DD,DH and myself and fold and put into baskets as it comes out....we will see

Go to library and to get friends DD birthday present

Bloody DH! He was in foul mood yesterday after being at a course all day, then went to see his geeky friends for the evening. Another late night for him then in a strop this morning - not my fault, so do not talk to me like i am your daughter! Grrrrrrr
I asked him to bring the laptop down for me as he was upstairs, he brought it down and put it in the dining room, so i asked him to pass it over to me in the living room "But you are not going to use it yet, you are eating" yes, but i have one spoonful of cereal left and i would like to have it next to me. Him "but it's messy there" Me "Go to work" When he is in 'busy' mode, he seems to forget that i am his wife not his daughter

Get up done
Get dressed done

ok I was in a terrible mood yesterday. Sat whining that things were untidy didnt do anything and shouted at pretty much everyone so am back today to try and get things at least passable by the time i have to get the kids. My middle one is in nursery all day today and so its just me, the one year old and the mess.

I loved doing the 3 things list so I will do that rather than a huge list (huge lists make me want to run and hide!)

ok first three things:

get some washing on including something decent to wear tomorrow (only have one pair of maternity trousers at the moment!)

Empty the upstairs bins

put away the clean dishes in the kitchen

Had been rushing around trying to get house tidied for friends visiting but they have just rang to say they would be late, so I can relax a little and come on here. Moved my airers upstairs so it is proving to be a lot more effort to go upstairs with clothes but it is so much tidier looking in the kitchen without them

Tidy Dining Area
Sweep Floor
Wash Floor
Wash Dishes
Clean Counters
Sweep Kitchen Floor
Wash Floor
Refrain from shouting at DCs esp DD3 who is in the most contrary humour
Tidy sitting room
Make Dinner for DH
