Just back from the hospital, they have upped DD2s med.

As grateful as I am for my DNs babysitting, gone are the days when babysitters used to tidy up as well as mind the children. Came back to a bombsite

Am in a bit of a hole atm, not sure if it is just af/head thing/sick child but it's a real struggle to even get the basics done atm.

And yesterday I had dd booked for her preschool jabs so picked her up from preschool (she does a full day on mon so is usually fairly tired after) and walked the 40 mins to the doctors in the rain with ds still ill in the buggy and dd lagging not wanting to walk and waited 20 mins then went in and the nurse wouldn't bloody do them because the computer was showing that dd had never had any jabs. Showed her her red book that had them all recorded but a couple of them weren't clear so she has to check with child health before doing them. I was so frustrated I was nearly in tears and I could see she was looking at me thinking "why is she making such a fuss" but just the thought of having rushed there to make the appointment and having to go all the way home again and having to go back again next week once she has checked them was too much. I don't mind going all that way for a reason but for nothing with ds ill, dd tired and me still not 100% really pissed me off!

Plum shame about your friend's ds, hope they find something that works for him.

My ironing pile is HUGE really need to do some.

Yes, Plum, I had a feling they would need to be increased as she was more contrary than normal, and her face and belly were more bloated. She has been upped 100mg on one day and 125mg on the next day (alternate days)

Freak i think i would have either sobbed or ranted, so i think you are quite controlled.

Waiting for DH to finish work before i go to the horses. DD doesn't look like she is going to sleep this afternoon and we keep have torrential showers here and my car is parked miles away. Will just be easier to leave DD with DH and get on by myself.

Oh good! I was feeling pissed off anyway but feeling like I was overreacting made me even more pissed off!

No idea what to do for dinner...

Freak we are having sausage and pepper pasta.

Onion
Tinned tomatoes

Fry the onion in a bit of oil, cut the raw sausages into discs and add those to the onion til brown/cooked, add chopped pepper til softened a bit, add tinned tomatoes, simmer for a bit, mix with pasta, top with cheese - Voila! Want an easy, quick dinner, so DD can be in bed early as DH is out tonight

CC I'm on 125/150 alternate days, although mine could do with being increased I'd say I'm a half a stone heavier

love it or with bacon & mushrooms

although I brown fry the sausages whole the cut them up, I find it easier than cutting up raw sausages

Plum it is the first time i have done that dish (have been looking for easy recipes) and have to agree that next time i will grill them whole then add them. Felt like they weren't cooked (they were) so didn't enjoy as much. Love the bacon idea.

although he slept most of the afternoon he seemed much better, ate some dinner and drank a bit then he was lying on my bed and dd was bouncing around and I told her to stop several times before she did then ds got up and was sick a few minutes later so not sure if it was the bouncing made him sick or if he would have been anyway.

We managed to get out, and I've done a few bits so I'm not quite as grumpy as I was this morning.

Sorry for all the poorly DCs. I think it's the hardest thing in life.

I am missing DH, but having as many blankets as I want on top of the duvet is pretty nice.

Poor ds still not himself though he slept all night and hasn't been sick again. Has been drinkng well today and ate some porridge but he is soooo thin And still has diarrhoea. I hate having poorly dc, my stomach gets all knotty and I worry constantly. Sorry for the whinging
