DS has hit a girl with a stick and I have a migrane . Annoying thing is I took paracetamol at 3pm so can't take anything else. DS has apologised to girl and promised never to do it again etc. and looked suitably remorse. Still could do without it when trying to develop new mummy type friends.

I know a few people who have hired the carpet cleaner for 1 day and done the whole house. You can get one for £25 for a day here

Wasting - have you changed back to washables now then? I have tonnes of Fuzzi Bunz but although i loved them they always leaked, someone was telling me about some new ones in Mothercare, just the liners so i could reuse the stuffings i already have. Would help with reducing our waste - although i only have one in nappies now

Morning! Yay for only one in nappies JKS!

Yes, back in cloth. It's a palaver, as I have flat terries folded, with cut in half bamboo flats folded as boosters and then fleece liners. Plus wrap of course.
Can't really justify spending more on nappies atm. I use some shaped nappies for bedtime and it's soooo much simpler.
I'd love to buy tonnes of wool wraps and leggings for him too, but I'd be hand-washing 24/7.

DS was up coughing all night and was waking dd so was in bed with me from when I went up and I didn't sleep at all with his coughing and snotting and lying on top of me.

I am VERY grumpy today and am being very mean to the dc.

DS is also very grumpy and has whinged all morning.

I have been a shit, shit mother today.

DC have watched tv most of the day

We went to tesco (3 mins away)and I felt completely out of control, ds wouldn't hold my hand so I had to hold his arm and drag him, in the shop I spent the entire time yelling at one or other of them to come back and I just found the whole experience completely stressful. I only have 2 dc ffs! Think because I am so tired normal stuff seems a bit much today.
