Apologies for title.

Write lists, chat about stuff, motivate, celebrate and commiserate.

cikecaka · 03/03/2010 21:05

DDs are 11,10 and 3. To be quite honest a lot of DD2s discovery of things like condoms and vd came from Friends, one day she was watching it she asked what a condom was, and I just told her that it was something a man wore on his privates to stop his girlfriend/wife getting pregnant. The following week she asked what a VD was while watching it and I just told her that if a man didnt wear a condom and had lots of girlfriends that they both could get it . I actually did the TALK with the DS and DD1 and 2 at the same time. DS had sex ed in school so wasnt new to him. DD2 is adament she doesnt want periods.

Morning,

Not been on here for a while. Was DS birthday last week and we have been taken over by toys so it's time to get back on track. On a positive we have been keeping up to date with washing/ironing by doing a load most mornings & it's great now I can get some things dried outside...

get us ready and take DS to nursery
come home, don't waste the 3 hrs wandering round shops spending money
take birthday presents up to his room
put his cards in keepsake box
declutter and empty bins
clean sofa (leather wipes)
dust sitting room then hoover
put a load of washing on
tea break
steam clean bathroom tiles
tidy DS room
hang washing on line
consider new toy storage/giveaway stuff for charity
cook lunch
collect DS from nursery...

hope to post back later

JKS your ds1 has done SO well on the toilet training

DD has gone to preschool dressed as snow white (book day) and when ds saw her he said "But where's mine? It's not fair! I want princess dress" so he is also dressed as a princess (in dd's bridesmaids dress). Lots of people said he looked cute but some of the mums were when they saw him . I thought he might change when we got home but he wants to stay as a princess
so looks like he'll be going to toddlers like that too.

Sorry Plum, didnt mean to offend, will back out quickly

cc knew it was too much info when she posted

FreakoidOrganisoid · 04/03/2010 10:53

Plum dd was asking how come she was half me and half daddy I said mummies have eggs in them and daddies have things called sperm and when they mix together they make babies. Ok she said and went off THEN came back

-but how do the daddies put the sterms in your tummy?

  • oh shit erm...um....

-I know! That big man that makes us and all the world mixes them up with a spoon and waves his magic wand and they turn into babies and then they are in your tummy

-yes dd that's right
